Wassermythos Ochsenlacke St. Jakob i. Def.

New play- and excursion-area at 2350m sea level. At the lake Ochsenlake, near the Mooseralm in the hiking region Skizentrum St. Jakob in Defereggen, there is a new destination goal for families. The guardians of the water ... 5 multi-dimensional playground facilities.

Pustertaler Höhenstraße

On the sunny side high above the Pustertal valley are the small mountain villages Bannberg, Assling, St. Justina and Anras, which are connected by this beautiful panoramic road. Highlights include the Wildpark in Assling (see page 105), the church of St. Justina on a steep hill and the historic village center of Anras with the second largest church of Osttirol (baroque style) and the Pfleggerichtshaus.

Staller Sattel pass (closed in winter)

Regulation in the summer months: In the summer months, the pass is opened 24 hours! Traffic light control! The crossing from Defereggental to Antholzertal is possible from minute 1 to minute 15 at any hour. The passage from Antholzertal to Defereggental is possible from minute 30 to minute 45 at any hour. The crossing is permitted for minibuses with up to 9 seats. Max. length 10 m and max. height 3 m - tunnel! Larger vehicles (buses, campers, etc.) require a special permit.
