Christmas Party at the Rec Centre

Christmas at the Pool:

A Support Group has been formed by F.C.S.S.

Dec. 5 ‐ Coco & kisses 1:30–3 pm & 6–8 pm and AADAC for people who are affected by Dec. 8 – Iceberg 6:30–8 pm loved one’s misuse of drugs and alcohol. The Dec. 10 ‐ Decorate gingerbread cookies group offers a chance to share and learn 6:30–8 pm Dec. 12– Candy cane swim 1:30–3 pm & about addictions. Held every Tuesday from 6–8 pm 6:30 ‐ 7:30 p.m. at the F.C.S.S. Office. Dec. 15 ‐ Iceberg 6:30–8 pm Contact Joan at 827‐2296 for more info. Dec. 17 – Christmas theme swim 6:30–8 pm Dec. 19 – Santa will be at the pool 1:30–3 pm & 6 ‐8 pm ‐ Midnight Teen Swim 11pm ‐ 12midnight

Dec 3 ‐ Craft Making 4 pm ‐ make snow flakes, paint wooden tree decorations, & more! Sleigh rides cancelled

Dec 4 ‐ Holiday Caroling 6 pm ‐ Meet at the Rec Centre to head out to spread Christmas spirit! Feel Free to bring a snack to share. Hot chocolate and apple cider will be provided after at the Rec Centre.

Dec 5 ‐ Christmas Classics Movie Marathon 1 pm ‐ Featuring Home Alone, A Christmas Carol, & more. $3/person for all movies. Call Rec. Centre for more info.

Drop‐In Activities

Dec. 13 ‐ Crafts & the Sugarplum Fairies movie 7‐9 pm in the recreation lobby. Dec 14 ‐ Crafts 1‐5 pm ‐ a fun filled day of crafts, cookie decorating, skating, and a special guest appearance from Santa. Fun for the entire family!

Volleyball Tuesday Nights: 6:30‐8pm until December 16 *Excluding Remembrance Day Basketball Wednesday Nights: 7 ‐ 8pm until December 17th

Friday Night is Movie Night

2008 Holiday Light Competition

Join us Friday’s at 9pm for a movie in the lobby of the Rec. Centre. New and old titles will be played. Film ratings will be enforced so call ahead or check our website for movie details.

Hosted by the Grande Cache Arts and Culture Committee. Recognition for top displays of holiday decorations and lights in the categories of Best Street, Industrial, Eco‐Friendly & Overall. Entry Deadline: December 1st. Entry forms are available at the Recreation Centre, Town Office or at www.grandecache.ca. You must be entered to participate. Judging Date: December 10th Winners will be announced on December 14th at our Christmas Holiday Celebration. Call 780‐827‐2446 for more information
