Lighting of Rocky the Ram Park Thursday, November 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the Provincial Building Parking Lot. Enjoy an evening of music, hot chocolate, baked goodies, and mush more. Be a part of the lighting of the downtown square as we get set to welcome the holiday season. Don’t forget to dress warm!
2008 Holiday Light Competition Hosted by the Grande Cache Arts and Culture Committee. Recognition for top displays of holiday decorations and lights in the categories of Best Street, Industrial, Eco‐ Friendly & Overall. Entry Deadline: December 1st. A Support Group has been formed by F.C.S.S. and AADAC for people who are Ages 9‐12 years, 3:45 ‐ 4:45 p.m. affected by loved one’s misuse of drugs November 18 ‐ December 16 and alcohol. The group offers a chance to Sign up at the Rec Centre for $10.00 Based on the successful European model of share and learn about addictions. Held sports schools and the Canadian Sport for Life every Tuesday from 6:30 ‐ 7:30 p.m. at document, we will encourage our participants the F.C.S.S. Office. Grande Geo‐Cache
Geo‐caching is an outdoor treasure hunting activity in which a GPS (global positioning system) is used to find caches filled with small th treasures. On Saturday November 15 , come down to the Rec Center and give geo‐caching a try. For $3 per person we will provide you On Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning with the use of a GPS and the option of October 16th the Grotto will be open for an all completing a short or long course. This is an ages drop‐in from 3:30 to 5:00. Anyone can come all ages activity, although children 10 and down after school to learn climbing techniques under should be accompanied by an adult. and participate in challenges and games!
