Day 1 Arrive Boston
Welcome to the affectionately named ‘Beantown,’ America’s oldest city. A key player in America’s battle for independence and the abolition movement, Boston’s historical significance can only be matched with its enthusiasm for sport. After settling into your hotel, you could head on down to the Seaport District to discover just how seriously Boston takes its reputation as a seafood capital. Day 2 Boston – Plymouth – Hyannis (2 Nights)
This morning’s city tour will follow a part of the Freedom Trail, visiting historic sites including Old State House and Quincy Market. You’ll then travel to ‘America’s Home Town’ of Plymouth, where you’ll MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® and visit the fascinating Plimoth Patuxet Museum, a meticulously recreated version of the original 17th-century Plymouth Colony. Next up, the pretty fishing villages and wealthy towns of Cape Cod, where you’ll arrive in Hyannis.

Day 3 Cape Cod & Provincetown Excursion
Start your day with an Iconic Breakfast at Persy’s Place. Winding your way along the scenic Old King’s Highway, you’ll arrive at Cape Cod National Seashore. At the very tip of the Cape sits artsy Provincetown, which boasts a plethora of galleries, craft shops and charming cafes. Nature enthusiasts, join our ‘Optional Experience’ for the chance to take a 4WD tour of the Peaked Hill Bars Historic District Sand Dunes.
Breakfast Day 4 Hyannis – Providence
Crossing the Cape Cod Canal, travel “off Cape” as we head to Rhode Island. Visit Newport, where you can spend time on the historic waterfront or in the Antiques District. Perhaps visit Newport Casino, the birthplace of tennis in the US. Highlight your visit with our ‘Optional Experience’ of The Breakers, a summer “cottage” of the Vanderbilt’s. Continue this afternoon to Providence, home of Brown University.

Day 6 Vermont’s Green Mountains

Start with a drive along the Historic Mohawk Trail on the way to Bridge of Flowers. The Bridge of Flowers is a nonprofit managed pedestrian bridge that keeps many flowers, plants, trees, shrubs, and vines growing beautifully throughout the season. Next on your journey, you will visit Saxton’s Distillery. Be surprised as you learn of the secret local Vermont ingredient used in the distilling process.
This morning we visit the famous resort town of Stowe before you travel past the appropriately named Green Mountains to Vermont’s capital city of Montpelier. See the state’s impressive state capitol building, the Vermont Sate House, before visiting Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks for a tasting of the unique “sugar on snow.” You’ll end today’s journey back in Killington. Day 7 Killington – North Conway (2 Nights)
This morning, cross from the Green Mountains to the White Mountains as we leave Vermont for New Hampshire. Travel along the dramatic Franconia Notch mountain pass before entering the scenic byway known locally as “The Kanc,” a historic National Scenic Byway. Emerging from the Kancamagus Highway, North Conway will be your home for the next two evenings.
Day 8 North Conway Sightseeing & Free Time

Blazing red, orange and yellow fall foliage will stretch out in every direction as you head into the White Mountains. You’ll pass by Mount Washington as you journey through Crawford Notch State Park, stopping at Silver Cascade Falls which cascades 4000 feet down the side of Mount Jackson. Back in North Conway, take a stroll around the restored buildings and treasure trove antique shops of the historic downtown. Breakfast

9 North Conway – Boston
Cross the state border into Maine today, taking in the vast forests, pretty seaside villages and cliff-lined shores of this affluent adventure playground. Stopping in chic, preppy Kennebunkport, enjoy a glimpse of a coastal town as you explore the upscale boutiques and flashy art galleries. Next, stop in Portsmouth and take in the beautiful 18th-century buildings and historical center. End your day back in Boston.
