A short note, Dear Friends…. …to say thank you for your many prayers and expressions of kindness and concern during this time as my sister, Lana Joseph, and brother-in-law, Mark Frail, have moved to Our Lord’s house. The rest of our families are pretty well worn-out at the moment. However, we have

God’s promise and God’s grace, and God’s people and that will be sufficient. Again, thanks you so very much.

Joy and Pain in the Resurrection Family

Congregational love and sympathy are extended to Carole Balk and family, upon the death of George on December 7th. Congratulations to Kim and Pete Stewart on the baptism of their daughter, Emily, December 7th. Congregational love and sympathy are extended to Sarah Barnes upon the death of her uncle on December 21st.

Thank you, too for your out pouring of generosity at Christmas…the Angel Tree gifts and food boxes, the winter coats and mitten tree, and the Salvation Army Kettle, touch many lives in our community. And thank you for your support and participation in our Advent and special Christmas Worship. I regret that Kathie and I were unable to be with you for “Twas the Night Before…” Eve was wonderful and inspiring and I by all reports, it was wonderful indeed! Christmas thank God and you for it. This could not be accomplished without the dedication of many volunteers. I thank each of you and our staff for their extraordinary efforts. A special thanks to the Music Staff and the members of our choirs. They carry an enormous load during the Christmas Season and we need to express our appreciation for their dedication. I also want to wish you a Happy New Year as we venture into 2015. This will be a challenging time for our nation and our world. I sense this will be one of those times when the witness of Christ’s Church will be vital. I am confident that God will give us the grace we will need. I want to thank you also for your many kindnesses at Christmas. Your expressions of love and concern are extraordinary. We feel very much a part of your lives and you are part of ours. It is a blessing to be your Pastor. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers, we love you, Your Pastor and friend,
