Halotherapy which comes from the Greek word ‘halos’ is a form of alternative medicine which makes use of salt. Shamana Spa’s recently introduced Salt Sauna Room and Salt Lifestyle Studio combine all the benefits of the hygroscopic Himalayan pink salt blocks to maximise your experience. The Salt Sauna at Shamana Spa is lined with pure mineral Himalayan salt blocks which when heated release negative ions or anions that absorb water vapor and other particles in the air creating a clean, bacteria-free environment. This helps alleviate breathing and respiratory conditions and also increases the oxygen supply to the brain helping you feel invigorated.
