The Music Club’s Grand Cabaret at Sonoran Plaza Returns with “The Nicole Pesce Quartet” with Dan Reed. Featuring Renee Grant Patrick, Suzanne Lunsford and Sheila Earley. It’s been a long time since our last Grand Cabaret, and we are pleased to welcome Nicole and Dan back to Sun City Grand for an exciting evening of professional entertainment. This is their signature show and they’re joined on stage by three award winning singer/musicians. Vocalist Renee comes from a family of professional singers. Her father, George Grant, traveled the world singing lead tenor for the Ink Spots in the 80s and 90s. Her mother performed with such greats as Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gaye. Our patrons will love the variety of popular songs Renee offers. A virtuoso violinist, Suzanne has also won awards for the incredible range of musical styles she has mastered. The 4th member of the quartet is another award winner. Drummer Sheila Earley has performed in all 50 states at some of the biggest venues – jazz festivals, Broadway musicals and much more. The Drama & Comedy Club season opens with Farce of Nature, written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, Jamie Wooten. Originally scheduled for December 2020, then rescheduled for March 2021 (thank you COVID-19), Farce of Nature will now be proudly performed in October on the Sonoran Plaza Main Stage. The non-stop hilarity of this Southern-fried farce highlights one day in the life of an Arkansas family, who own the “Reel ’Em Inn,” the finest little fishing lodge in the Ozarks. Well, it used to be, but lately business is down, tourists are few, except for one lone guest. A deliciously funny romp ensues, but by the chaotic end of this one outrageous day, love blossoms, truths are revealed and lives change in incredible and surprising ways.

This country western dance welcomes popular western entertainer, J. David Sloan and Western Bred. Western Bred features J David Sloan. A country music icon and owner of the legendary Mr. Lucky's, J David Sloan and Western Bred hit the Arizona music scene in the 1980's. This rock and swing dance, formerly known as the Monthly Variety Dance, will feature The Rhythm Edition Band. The 7-piece Rhythm Edition Band has been entertaining audiences throughout the valley for more than 20 years., The band features classic rock, R&B, Motown and the Top 40.
