1. Styling with throws

A simple throw can influence the mood and ambience of a room – drape, fold, cascade, and fall – the choice is yours. Whether it’s on the end of a bed, the back of the lounge or over the side of an outdoor chair, Seasonal throws ranging from textured knits and fine linens are a versatile way of enhancing and impacting the overall feel of a space. Throws with a loose knit, chunky throw casually drapped over the arm of a living room chair is an invitation to get comfortable with a book while keeping the evening chill at bay, whilst a throw which is fitted with a classic print and neatly folded over the end of the bed resonates sophistication and formality. While one is more functional and interative, the other adds a decorative and formal touch.

2. Styling with Candles

“Candles are a prized jewel in many a home decorator’s crown” For good reason, too: They’re simple, cost effective, look great, smell great and play a perfect role alongside complementary homewares. Think simple wooden trays placed on coffee tables and metallic vases with fresh blooms sitting on kitchen islands. Candles are effective in revamping a room. For example, in the dining room, create a centrepiece for your coffee table using candles of various colours, shapes and sizes and cluster them together in an interesting mix

Cushions can instantly transform a room. Don’t underestimate how

updating one or two cushions in line with the season’s colour palette will keep a room feeling fresh and current with minimum cost and fuss.
