About Bacon & Co. The histor y

The directors

acon & Co has been established since 1990. Principal Glen Bacon has been involved in the local property market for almost 30 years. The business was initially created from the Crabtree Lane premises offering residential sales, lettings and financial services from the one office.

January 2003 saw the opening of the first Worthing office at Downlands Parade – a highly visible outlet, and the first agency to be found by visitors to the town travelling in from East Sussex. The launch of Downlands Parade was swiftly followed by a second Worthing office at Thomas A Becket giving clients greater exposure of their homes to potential purchasers.

Matthew Searle, Director Started his career in 1986 with an Estate Agent in Guildford. Thereafter Matthew moved to a leading Worthing Estate Agent and then wound up his estate agency career as a branch manager in Horsham. In 1991 Matthew created Independent Options. Bacon & Co have been working alongside Independent Options for a number of years and Matthew became a director of Bacon & Co in 2003
