PERATON WELCOME KIT
We did 10,000 of these Peraton kits. We kit them up front and then ship them out weekly until we run out (usually about a year and a half/two years) to all of their new hires. This is why we include a lanyard and a badge reel and then other items that are useful that will stay on your desk.
FANDOM VIRTUAL EVENT ATTENDEE GIFTS
Fandom came to us and wanted to find a creative way to gift their VIP attendees at their annual Inside Fandom event.
Grapevine put up 3 different pop-up shops, one for VIPs, one for General Attendees and one for Media. We tracked all attendees and gave daily updates as RSVPs rolled one. The fun thing about this was they offered their VIPs a gift box with 3 predetermined items: a Stanley, notebook and a bluetooth speaker.
Each VIP had the opportunity to customize their gift with a selection of one of four gifts. We designated 4 member profiles: The Active Member (pickleball set), The Entertainer (cheese plate), The Health Focused (massage gun), and The Traveler (packing cubes). We sent out 200+ different sets each with a personalized note and custom gift. Client was super happy with the results and we are already planning next year’s event.
IVX HEALTH ROADTRIP KIT
This project was a blast to work on! We wanted this campaign to feel very personal, and what better way to do that than to recreate a classic road trip box! From local snacks and sweets, curated souvenir items from each city, a nostalgic road map, a customized “suitcase” to carry along the way - this kit has everything you’d want for a long trip on the open road. The KC magnet and Nashville keychain are personal favorites, they were chosen because both are popular souvenirs people collect on their travels.
COMMUNICATION PLAN
Our client asked us to develop a program for a quarterly online Pop-Up program of interesting, relevant, and onbrand collection of merchandise. We created a full blown communication plan to increase awareness and adoption rate throughout the organization. GVD accessed the HRB brand assets independently, without guidance or investment on the part of the client. We developed two design concepts to share with client, and they selected the concept that reflects the new global color palette and the paper texture. The intent was to give it sort of a street shop feel. The comms plan included 2 sections: for WHQ/onsite and then the e-communication component. Some of these touchpoints included eblasts, social posts, video boards, TV monitors, elevator signage, staff buttons, and more.

CHIEFS HOLIDAY KITS
We came up with two different themed kits and sourced products for each. Tying the theme into holiday and Chiefs is always super fun and our art team did a great job on the imprints and packaging. The client loved this so much that they ordered a second batch of the ‘Fan Favorites’ kits to give out later in the year.
ADVANCED BUILDER SOLUTIONS
INSTALLATION KITS
Advanced Builder Solutions employs a bilingual workforce who work in all weather extremes, so they requested a kit to be given to their installers to show their appreciation. The cooler is a gift for their lunch or for cold drinks when working in the Texas heat, and the cooling towel is to be used in the hot weather as well. Also included was a hat, small first aid kit and lip balm with their thank-you message printed in both English and Spanish.
COMMERCEHOUSE HOLIDAY GIFTS
These CommerceHouse were inspired by holiday gifts we sent out ourselves a few years before and the client liked them. We thought they were festive solution for this client.
US SKI GOLD MEDAL PASSES
These passes are given to donors every year. They pay $15k per pass and it gets them onto any ski lift in North America. We were tasked with coming up with an ecofriendly packaging display for these and dropshipping each pass to the donor. Every pass has it’s own barcode on it and goes to that specific donor, so triple checking throughout the entire process was so important. The client also had very specific shipping instructions and our team had to do some research on the best way to ship all of these. FedEx Two Day with a Signature Required ended up being best. Because of the value of these passes, the client flew two locked suitcases from SLC to KC for us to kit and dropship for them. We had to have them locked up until they were shipped out. Super cool and very high value project that was executed flawlessly by the kitting and shipping teams.
IVX PEDIATRIC KIT
Working with so many corporate companies, we rarely get to work on a project geared towards children, so this was such a treat to dream up! The purpose of these kits is to help introduce and ease kids into their first infusion or injection appointment. The stuffed elephant ‘Ivy’ is their welcome gift when they arrive, and is housed in an adorable Build-A-Bear-esque box with a blank luggage tag on the outside for its new owner’s name. Throughout the process, they’ll mark off their dry erase treasure map each step of the way until they reach the end of their appointment and can select a prize from the ‘treasure box’!
NETSMART MASTERS SALES TRIP GIFTS
Each year the top performers at Netsmart are awarded a trip with a guest. This year was to Scrub Island. We worked with them to find a way to build excitement before the event, which is what was in this kit: an itinerary and info for the trip along with travel essentials (headphones, apparel, air tags. and a custom dopp kit with art from their Masters branding step and repeated on the fabric). These pieces coordinated with pieces that were given away during the trip - a welcome gift that included PMS matched sunglasses, a beach bag, snacks, sunscreen, and more. They also received items for their excursion day (waterproof/sunproof apparel, a cap, a dry bag). Finally, top performers were given a piece to commemorate the event, which was a picture frame this year.
U.S. BANK NEW CUSTOMER MAILERS
These kits were a part of a three part mailer campaign sent to welcome new corporate credit card customers to U.S. Bank. The first mailer contained champagne gummy bears to celebrate the customer joining the program. The blossom kits were the second mailer that went out 6 months after the account had been opened as a “check in” or touch base. The final mailer in the project will begin in January 2025 and is a bluetooth speaker. This was a pilot for a specific region within the bank and it has been so well-received, they will be expanding the program to reach all new corporate card clients of the bank.
VISTRA GOLF TRIP PREMAILERS
We did both a save the date and then an invite as premailer for this event. The mailers went to high level executives, so we wanted to send something a bit unique. The set of golf balls in the tin was the save the date and it used a QR code on the front of the golf tees to give them more information about the event. The actual invite was the kit with the turf. That set included a range finder and then a scorecard holder with the recipient’s name. Inside was a custom scorecard specific to the course they would be playing on.
US SKI CUSTOM TOTE BAGS
Client came to us on 12/19 and wanted a retail puffer tote bag from LogoBrands with a custom transfer decal; delivered by 1/2. Logobrands said they couldn’t ship us blank totes because their factory closed on 12/20 for break. We were able to source new puffer totes from PCNA who said they could do a SureShip for us to meet the IHD. Fast forward two days and on Christmas Eve we found out PCNA could no longer deliver the order on time. Eva and I were able to source cream puffer tote bags (from Forever21 of all places) and they had enough in inventory to ship us on 12/27 for delivery on 12/30. Over the weekend I purchased a leather hide and custom cut hang tags for each puffer tote. I also learned how to punch holes through leather. Very tedious process. Philip over at Midwest was able to laser engrave the logo onto each tag Monday morning so we could tie the tags onto them and ship them out for next day delivery. Plot Twist - the bags arrived with a gaudy Forever21 label on the inside. Kristin & Jill took seam rippers to each tote bag and removed the inside label. All hands on deck!
U.S. BANK FINANCIAL FOUNDATIONS
COURSE COMPLETION KITS
These kits were made for participants who completed U.S. Bank’s Financial Foundations program. They picked workbooks and an activity book to keep the program top of mind and a wearable as a thank you for completing the course. The book was sent to us to add to the kit and a continuing education piece. They chose the box as a fun way to deliver the items with a pop of color with the red tissue.
