Annual Report
Grapevine Faith Christian School
22-23
A NOTE FROM DR. SMITH
It has been my great privilege to witness our school's continuous advancement and commitment to biblically-based, Christ-centered education in the 2022-2023 school year. In the past year, we have witnessed remarkable academic achievements, spiritual growth, and community involvement. Our teachers have ardently worked to infuse a biblical worldview into every aspect of the Faith educational experience and our students have shown dedication towards both their academic pursuits and spiritual growth.
This report is more than just a collection of data and figures. It's a testament to our passion for developing and graduating authentic Christian leaders. It's an affirmation of the dedication, resilience, and perseverance of our partnership.
As you review the annual report, I trust you will share in the joy of our accomplishments and recognition of God’s blessing on Grapevine Faith. I look forward to your continued support as we enter our 25th year.

HIGH FIVE In a historic achievement, the Faith Varsity Girls Soccer Team earned their fifth state title win in the TAPPS 5A State Soccer Championships. It was the sixth state championship victory for Head Coach Cat Meyer (GFCS Class of 2011) in her eight years at Faith. "We came out, took care of business," Coach Cat said after the win. "It's all them." Coach Cat was also the 2023 recipient of the TAPPS 5A Edd Burleson Coach of the Year award. This award is voted on by TAPPS leadership and given annually to the top male and female coaches of the year in honor of the long-time TAPPS director.
ATHLETICS A historic championship run, college signings, and All-State honors were among the many accolades and highlights of the 2022-2023 Grapevine Faith athletic programs. Eight of Faith's team sports secured a playoff appearance, and every individual sport at Faith had at least one athlete compete at the state level.

ADVANCEMENT 2022-2023
Thanks to the unwavering support of the Faith family, we met our ambitious goal of raising $10 million in just four years - a full year ahead of our projected timeline. This achievement is a testament to our collective effort and belief in our purpose. In addition, our Lion Legacy Fund initiative surpassed our target, amassing more than $300,000. The Faith Gives campaign also experienced significant success, collecting nearly $170,000. The annual gala, Let It Shine, with guest speaker Tim Tebow, generated over $840,000, including $350,000 for the newly established Safety & Security Fund. We are truly grateful for these victories which enable us to continue advancing the mission and vision of Grapevine Faith.
