DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE KEVIN MITCHELL Director, Grapevine Parks and Recreation KMitchell@grapevinetexas.gov Normally this time of the year, our summer camps and programs are fully booked and we’re preparing for a fun-filled summer season. This year is different due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Department has been working to put in place new health and social distancing protocols to provide the safest environment for your children. This Summer Camp Directory lists all of the summer camps that are currently available for registration. We are excited to adjust and still be able to offer camps like our lake-based outdoor camp, Dove Creek Day Camp, as well as Legos camps, STEM camps, arts camps, excursion camps and more. The past few months have been challenging for everyone as we have juggled changes to work schedules to keep staff safe, developing opportunities around virtual activities and classes, and so much more while trying to pave the safest, healthiest path for our patrons. We want you to know that we care about adjusting to provide opportunities for your child to learn, engage, and enjoy their summer the best they can through this difficult time. We are in this together and will adjust as the phased approach to reopening evolves. Keep up with Grapevine Parks & Recreation’s latest COVID-19 updates by visiting GoGrapevine.com/Covid19 and by following us on social media. Warm Regards, Kevin Mitchell
@GoGrapevine
