Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Aide Seeking an individual with a professional and courteous manner to provide administrative and clerical support to a busy local housing program. This position is responsible for serving as the first point of contact for incoming client residents and landlords; answering inquiries, directing clients to the appropriate department, escalating issues to management, advising program participants of the adequacy of documentation submitted and is the primary public resource regarding program procedures. The successful candidate will demonstrate previous experience in customer service and strong organizational skills. The ability to work effectively with the public and landlords in determining eligibility for programs is required. Candidate should have a proven record of dealing tactfully the public. Requirements also include experience in Microsoft Word and Excel, a high school diploma or GED, and abilities to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks.

Beginning salary is $27,000/yr. + excellent benefits package
