g lf tips Golf boarding anyone?

H

aving already been featured by media outlets such as Golf Digest, Fox News, CNBC, Bloomberg, and Golf Channel, the popularity of GolfBoard is soaring to new heights and new clubs are taking fleet deliveries nationwide. The GolfBoard is a surfboard-like standing golf cart built specifically to be ridden on golf courses. The design of the GolfBoard includes tires meant to have minimal impact on a course’s turf, and it features all-wheel drive and positraction. With a top speed of 14 mph, the GolfBoard markets itself as a fast and fun alternative to traditional golf carts, or even more traditional walking. In Georgia they can be found at the St. Simons Island, The King and Prince Resort or you can travel to South Carolina and ride at: Hidden Valley Golf Club, True Blue Golf Club or the Seabrook Island Club.

The golf courses that are willing to try the new invention are doing so gradually due to the expense. Those courses will usually purchase 5-10 at a time to make sure that they are popular with it’s members but in most cases they are so popular, a reservation weeks ahead of time is needed to secure a ‘board. GolfBoards are easy to manuever. The user is always in full control of both the speed and direction of the board. The thumb throttle controls the speed of the GolfBoard, while the user controls the direction through body movement. It is as intuitive to operate as it is fun to ride. Golf will never be the same after using the GolfBoard. At most courses, a few minutes of training is required before

heading out to the first tee. According to Stina Sternberg, Global Golf Director for Golf Digest, “If every golf course offered GolfBoards, golf would be the most popular sport in the world.” Since it’s the latest technological breakthrough, GolfBoards will cost slightly more than your regular cart rentals and each surcharge is different based on the course. However, most clubs feel that the added fun, pace-of-play, and other benefits the GolfBoard brings to your round will be worth it to many people. - Glenn Trancel For more information you can visit www.golfboard.com

Grayson Magazine met with

DR. BRAD GILBERT one of the orthodontists of Smiles Forever. A graduate of Forsyth Central, a basketball and tennis player at Marist High School, who went on to graduate from Rhodes College and a former member of the Air Force Academy...... your teeth examined. As a team, I would say that we have a great rapport with both the patients and the parents, but it’s our Assistants that create that atmosphere.

Grayson Magazine: What’s the best tip for those who are either considering braces or currently have braces but want to maintain them properly?

Grayson Magazine: ...and then you made it to Dental School. Dr. Gilbert: I’m not sure exactly how I found myself in Dental school but that is correct. Dental School was not my original target believe it or not. My original aspirations were medical school with no intention of going to Dental School. Eventually I discovered that it was a better calling for me than medical school. That was confirmed once I began studying the orthodontic field. That’s where I found the appeal for a career. Grayson Magazine: Did you have a mentor as you were pursuing this field? Dr. Gilbert: Absolutely. I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Ron Parsons, who at the time, already had a successful and established practice in the area. I was in school until I was 30 and I met Ron through the AAO (American Association of Orthodontists). He had already been practicing at that time for almost 20 years. I knew at that time that I did not want to open up my own practice and he was gracious enough to form a partnership with me and to serve as my mentor. I would say that I got most of what I know from him. Grayson Magazine: With Dr. Parsons’ retirement 2 years ago, it’s

just you and Dr. Adam Wells correct?

Dr. Gilbert: Yes. I knew Adam from Louisville and ran into him at an Orthodontic event in California. We both enjoy learning about the industry at every chance we get so I knew he would be a strong fit with our current practice. Grayson Magazine: Smiles Forever has 4 locations but this Loganville office seems brand new. How do you keep up with the different operations? Dr. Gilbert: Our Assistants work diligently to make sure that we schedule properly to meet the needs at our locations. The Assistants here are really the backbone of the operation. We work together as a team with the sole purpose of making sure that our patients get exactly what they need without paying for what they don’t need and most importantly we provide an environment that eliminates the nerves and apprehension of having

Dr. Gilbert: It still comes down to proper hygiene. With the technology that we utilize here at Smiles Forever, we’re able to facilitate the process of correcting your smile, but the patients that tend to take good care of their braces and teeth get the better results. Chewing on pens, hard candies, or missing routine maintenance prolongs the efforts, but we can resolve almost any issue that is keeping you from being 100% happy with your smile. What is a MYGA? A MYGA is a Multi-Year Guaranteed Annuity, a hybrid between a fixed annuity and a CD. The MYGA guarantees a fixed rate for the entire duration of the contract’s terms, anywhere from 1-10 years. MYGA’s are normally purchased by retirees or those nearing retirement and will out-perform CD’s because of their tax deferral benefits and more competitive rates. The key distinction between a MYGA and a fixed annuity is the term of the guaranteed rate. A fixed annuity will normally only guarantee it’s rate for a one year period. Each anniversary the rate resets depending on market conditions. The MYGA’s rate is guaranteed for the entire contract period. Some MYGA’s actually increase their rate on an annual basis during the term of the contract. Others may pay a bonus the first year. (EX: 5 year contract pays 4.25% the first year and 3.25% years 2-5) Also, there are some MYGA’s that have a return of premium feature if a full withdrawal is necessary before the contract ends. MYGA’s and CD’s do have some similarities. CD’s are issued by banks/brokers and are insured by the FDIC up to $100,000 for non-retirement accounts. Annuities are issued by insurance companies and are safeguarded by individual state reserves, ranging from $100,000 to $300,000. Also, MYGA’s can be rolled over from one annuity to another without showing income or triggering a taxable event. This is known as a 1035 exchange. CD’s generate income statements every year. MYGA’s may allow for a partial withdrawal, either the annual interest earned or 10% of the initial investment and are RMD friendly. These features are very desirable. In contrast, liquidating a CD early will incur a sizeable surrender charge. (Always read the disclosures.) Meet Station 8.... ..5 Local Firefighters/Paramedics dedicated to the safety of our community. Station 8 - Lt. Brad Sheppard, Chase Dutton, Derek Greeson, Chris Smith & Dennis Troughton. Grayson Magazine had the privilege to spend time at Fire Station 8 located in Grayson a few weeks ago and met with the

5 members that work long hours and put their lives in danger for the safety and welfare of the community. Lt. Brad Sheppard, who has been a Firefighter for the past 9 years, says that what makes his station special is the crosstraining that all of his members have received.

Lt Brad Sheppard: We are all trained as firefighters but we are also trained as paramedics which provides additional assistance and capabilities on an emergency. In 2011, being a paramedic became a mandatory part of the firefighter job description. Here at Station 8, we are a combined EMS & Fire unit.

Firefighters: Dennis: “DJ Troughton, Chase Dutton, Lt. Brad Sheppard, Derek Greeson, & Chris Smith

22

Grayson Magazine

Derek Greeson: We will often run together for manpower purposes, but each one of us knows what to do from attic fires to cardiac arrests. There are people that wonder why a fire truck arrived on a medical call, but it’s so that we can provide the subject of the call with additional medical resources or personnel. Chase Dutton: On our fire trucks, we have everything that our ambulance has, except the ability to transport. Grayson Magazine: I know that Firefighters are known for keeping their equipment in pristine condition especially their vehicles, but the EMS ambulance looks brand new. Chris Smith: We have been very fortunate to receive a brand new EMS (ambulance) vehicle. The fact that it’s newer means it has more functions that allows us to expedite our processes. For example, the ability to remove the medical gurney was a two-man job and took valuable time and removed valuable personnel from the scene. With our new vehicle, we can operate the gurney quickly and efficiently by simply pressing a button. Grayson Magazine: You definitely have a lot of cool gadgets and compartments on both vehicles, and I assume that between the fire truck and the eagerness to serve or help others is what drives you to be a Firefighter, but for someone contemplating this profession,

what does a typical day look like for a local firefighter? Lt Sheppard: Well, we all had extensive training over an 18 month period. During the training process, most enthusiasts realize if this is truly what they are called to do. Our shifts are 24 hours on and 48 hours off. Being on alert for 24 hours and dealing with calls takes a certain type of focus. Each call is important and you always try to prepare yourself for the unexpected. The majority of the calls that we have are medical assistance, vehicle accidents, and vehicle fires. Derek Greeson: If we’re not on a call, we have new training information that is available to us for additional education. We have a weight room and treadmill here at the station so if we’re not studying or on a call, we’re usually staying fit. Grayson Magazine: Your station is located in Grayson, but what is your jurisdiction? LT Sheppard: We can hear all of the calls in the area as they come on the radio (dispatch), so if we are asked to provide with assistance out of our jurisdiction, we are always ready for that, but our immediate jurisdiction is

Firefighter/Paramedic Chase Dutton in full fire gear.

Grayson and areas in Snellville, Lawrenceville, and Loganville. We work in collaboration with Fire Stations 12, 15, 28, and 30. Grayson Magazine: A very popular question that I would suppose the Fire Department gets frequently is, when are you allowed to burn leaves on your property and when is it prohibited? Derek Greeson: That’s actually based on several things, but it really comes down to the weather. It’s seasonal but if you are planning to burn leaves on your property, the best thing to do is to log onto www.gwinnettcounty.com and it will tell you if that particular day, based on the weather patterns will allow you to burn. The Fire Marshall will have Burn Day information which is based on the National Weather Forecast. (Open burning season in Gwinnett runs from October 1st through April 30th)

“Our belief is that people may not be aware of the rules for outdoor burning or the fact that a particular day is not a burn day,” said Captain Tommy Rutledge, spokesman for Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services. Captain Rutledge said that a notice of non-compliance or an actual citation may be issued if the burn is not being conducted in accordance with the established fire ordinance. For additional information on outdoor debris burning or to find out when burning is allowed, please go to the Community Risk Reduction/Fire Marshal’s website at www.gwinnettfiremarshal.com or call the Burn Information Line at 678.518.4979.

Numerous compartments on a fire truck including space for the generator needed to operate the Jaws of Life which is also equipped on the truck. GM: What can we do as homeowners to help prevent house fires? What should be on our checklist? LT Sheppard: Making sure that

Grayson Magazine

Chase Dutton: We do official and unofficial tours here at the station. Many Grayson Magazine readers may be surprised to know that at Station 8, we offer a Blood Pressure Evaluation which means if you would like to stop by to have your blood pressure taken, we will assist you and provide that opportunity for you here at the station.

you are checking your smoke detectors, I would say once a month. There needs to be a smoke alarm on every level of your house including the basement. Each smoke detector needs to have working batteries. As a rule, the batteries should be replaced twice a year. Chase Dutton: We will often replace the batteries for a homeowner if we hear that the batteries are chirping or indicating a low battery, but this is a simple yet highly effective way to keep proper fire safety maintenance in your home.

Blood Pressure is read by 2 numbers the Systolic Pressure and the Diastolic Pressure. Anything over 180 for your Systolic pressure is considered high and anything over 95 for your Diastolic Pressure is considered high.

GM: In case of a fire, what is your #1 rule for a resident?

GM: What can our readers do to support your station and your efforts?

Dennis (DJ) Troughton: Don’t panic. Hopefully, you have already talked to your family regarding fire safety and you already know of a fire evacuation plan, where your fire extinguisher is kept, and a meeting place outside of the home and away from any danger. Be sure to contact the fire department instead of trying to re-enter a burning building. That’s what we’ve been trained to do, so we would not want a civilian to become injured. It’s better to wait for the Fire Department.

LT Sheppard: The community has been great. They are very supportive and it serves as an incredible encouragement when you have long days. Learning the basic fire safety guidelines and vehicle guidelines will always save lives and facilitates the things that we do. Chase Dutton: We are very thankful for our equipment, but many people think that our gear is fire proof. It’s fire resistant, not fireproof which is a big difference. The number one thing that keeps us safe in the event of a fire is our training. Fire Tips and things you should know:

Grayson Magazine: There are plenty of informative pamphlets and flyers here at the station. This Is more open to the public than I would have imagined

• Test Your smoke alarm monthly • Cool water for a burn • Have a family escape plan • Call 911 in an emergency

How to Make Sure Your Money Lasts as Long as You Do

By Ruth Goldstein, Financial Advisor Since you are watching market headlines, you probably saw that markets tumble in the first days of 2016, raising the specter of corrections and bear markets. Well, February was another nervous ride for investors with an upswing in the first two weeks of March. When markets swing, it’s natural to worry about your investments. An expectation of volatility has many Americans worried about running out of money during retirement. Avoiding emotional responses to the stock market are critical. Many investors make preventable mistakes that they regret for the rest of their lives. These errors can literally cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and I hate to see it happen. Fear of market volatility is a valid fear and one that I spend a lot of time discussing with my clients. When a new client comes into my office we discuss where they live and the life style they enjoy today. I explain, the journey into retirement must be smooth whether it’s travelling the world, starting a new business or taking up a more relaxing way of life. While it’s good to get an idea of the expense side as soon as possible, it’s also important to consider your income sources such as Social Security, savings, IRAs and pensions and how they fit in as well. Because market volatility and low interest rates are a reality, the financial strategies that you need are not the same as they were two years ago. If you’re not prepared, retirement and the loss of consistent income can feel the same as being unemployed for 10, 15 or 20 years. Allow us to educate you on the proven retirement planning strategies for today’s market and give you the specialized service that you deserve. Come meet Ruth Goldstein and her team in Loganville at Mainstreet Restaurant for her next Retirement Journey Seminars April 12th and 14th. Reserve a space for you and a guest, there is absolutely no cost or obligation. See our full page invitation right here in the Grayson Magazine.

Spring into Pasta PREPARATION 1 Begin heating a large pot of water for the pasta. Meanwhile seed the pepper, holding it over a bowl to catch juices. Cut in small dice (about 1/4 inch) and place in a another bowl. Strain any juices into the bowl and season with salt and pepper. 2 In a large bowl, mash together the feta and the yogurt and add the puréed garlic. Stir in the olive oil, pepper with its juice, basil and marjoram or oregano. 3 When the water for the pasta comes to a boil, salt generously and add the farfalle. Set the timer for 5 minutes and add the peas. Boil for another 5 minutes, until the farfalle is cooked al dente. Ladle 2 to 4 tablespoons of the cooking water into the yogurt mixture. Drain the pasta and add to the bowl with the yogurt and peppers. Toss together and serve. Garnish each serving with slivered basil and crumbled feta if desired.

5 The

keys to Forgiveness Whether it is a specific act or just words that are very hurtful; chances are we will have a number of lifetime experiences that will raise the issue of forgiveness, consciously or subconsciously. Forgiveness is perhaps one of the most emotional and psychological experiences we will ever encounter. It involves feelings of anger, revenge, resentment, hurt, hostility, sadness, bitterness, retaliation or retribution. At the same time, when we are on the other end seeking forgiveness, a different yet just as potent mix of emotions is unraveled: reconciliation, compromise, closure, concessions, contrition, atonement, repentance. Is a lack of forgiveness the only barrier between you and the fulfillment that God has for your life? There’s nothing easy about it. Forgiveness is a dark, lonely, path with an unknown destination, but these five steps will guide you:

32

Grayson Magazine

1 Timing -

Time heals all wounds is the saying, but a gesture towards forgiveness expedites the healing process. Forgiveness may not be immediate. You may not receive forgiveness immediately nor may you be able to forgive right away. Giving the other person time to process and get to a point of forgiveness is crucial.

3

2 Perspective -

The world is hectic. We’re surrounded by app. producing millionaires who have consolidated most of our life to a hand held device and yet we still run around with work, school, and family obligations frantically. However, when you pause to reflect on what is truly important while we are here on this earth in these bodies chasing the wind as Solomon

put it in Ecclesiastes, we tend to lose perspective on what is really important. Such as love, fellowship, friendship. It’s usually the ones that we admire most that tend to posses the ability to hurt us the greatest. Is holding resentment and refusing to forgive worth the inner turmoil when life is put into it’s proper perspective?

Practice - The need to

forgive comes in many forms. Depending on your commute to work, you may find yourself having to forgive absent-minded drivers on numerous occasions during your commute like I do on Sugarloaf Parkway. Start practicing forgiveness and, as funny as it may sound, you’ll get better at it. Forgive the driver that cut you off. Dry cleaners made an error on your favorite blouse, ‘I forgive you...I want a credit, but I still forgive you.’ Get in the habit of forgiving especially the little things and the tougher challenges will become easier to get through. With forgiveness, go with your heart and your brain will follow.

Stay Healthy - Anger, resentment, hostility, turmoil. There’s

a reason why you will not find any of these in a Hallmark card. It’s because they are not healthy uplifting words yet they are remnants of a lack of forgiveness. If you are on the other side of forgiveness, just know that the person that is seeking your forgiveness is going through these difficult stages and it is causing them to be emotionally and sometimes physically unhealthy which hopefully will encourage you to expedite your path to forgiving them.

5 Follow Our Leader

- Luke 23:24 Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. Jesus’ request to God serves as the perfect role model as to the extent unto which we can forgive. Is there ANYTHING that anyone has done in your life that could even come close to what Jesus endured as an innocent and flawless man on earth and yet his plea was to forgive. The ability to request retaliation or even annihilation was well within his means while on the cross, but forgiveness is the reason He came and forgiveness is the path He set to follow.

MTU-EduCare & Grayson Coffee House

WHATBirth A GREAT PARTNERSHIP! of a Tutoring Program Concept MTU-EduCare of Georgia is dedicated to meeting the academic needs of the students in our local communities with a program that enables students to achieve academic success at their highest level possible.

N

ot only do we want our students to be successful in their academics; we want them to be successful in life. I began a tutoring program over 8 years ago that eventually evolved into MTUEduCare. Unfortunately, the number of needy students overwhelmed the ability to meet these needs. That’s when I realized that we have a great resource in local high school students to reach other students and fulfill the academic need through kids helping kids. In the MTU-EduCare program, the tutors, high school students, do homework assistance, test prep, organization and study skills. But in addition to these skills, the high school tutors do so much more: they mentor the students by having conversations and making connections to their daily lives and struggles - they know, they have been there.

The Backstory to the Grayson Coffee House As MTU-EduCare grew, I realized that we needed a suitable, safe location for the tutors and “tutees” to meet. My thoughts went to the idea of a local gathering place like a coffee house. That is how Grayson Coffee House became the gathering place. It is where, as one customer said, “Lives are being changed here.” The support the local

34

community has given to Grayson Coffee House is greatly appreciated. It provides a great location for not only students in my program, but for other tutors meeting with students, for local churches to hold Bible studies, for small businesses to use for group meetings, and the list goes on. Thanks to our customers, the Grayson Coffee House has truly become the gathering place of the community. We even have been called the “hub of Grayson”, in recognition of the local cycling group, Grayson Cycling Club, that begins their weekly rides from the coffee house. The value that the Grayson community puts on education and living local is truly amazing. MTU-EduCare exists to bring academic relief to struggling children. Furthermore, through kids-helping-kids approach, MTU-EduCare has shown older students the value in helping others excel. The Grayson Coffee House blends academics success with a gathering place for a small town community. MTU-EduCare is a non-profit organization. If you would like more information or to make a donation to the program, please contact me at 770-715-8998 or visit our website, www.mtueducare.com. A

s a practicing obstetrician/ gynecologist for the past 15 years, HPV virus and HPV infection is almost a daily discussion with patients in my practice. Over the years I have found many questions and misconceptions regarding HPV. Here is a short summary on HPV, transmission, prevention, and treatment. Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the United States. It is a virus that causes cervical cancer and genital warts. It’s link with malignancies is well established. Cervical cancer happens when normal cells in the cervix change into abnormal cells, and grow out of control. This is caused by HPV virus infection. Over 100 different types of HPV have been identified; more than 40 of these are known to infect the cervix and approximately 15 are known to cause cervical cancer. They are categorized to low risk and high risk based on the potential to cause cervical cancer. Types 16 and 18 are the high-risk types that cause most (about 70 percent) cases of cervical cancer. HPV types 6 and 11 can cause about 90 percent of genital warts. These types are low-risk because they do not cause cervical cancer. Persistent infection with high risk HPV can lead to cancer of the cervix, which affects more than 10,000 American women every year. HPV also causes cancers of the head and neck in men and women.

The risk of HPV exposure increases with the number of sexual partners you have and the number of partners your partner has. It has been estimated that 75 to 80 percent of sexually active adults will acquire HPV infection before the age of 50. A majority of women and men become infected with HPV for the first time between ages 15 and 25 years. Most people who are infected with HPV have no signs or symptoms, and in most cases, the infection goes away within two years, often without treatment. In 10 to 20 percent of women, however, the infection persists. In this situation, there is a greater chance of developing cervical pre-cancer and then cancer. However, it usually takes on average 20 to 25 years for an incident HPV infection to cause cervical cancer. Thus, regular testing is important in detecting cervical abnormalities early, before cancer develops. Testing for cervical cancer: A Pap test (also called a “Pap smear”) is used to screen women for cervical cancer. Cervical cancer screening (Pap smear) is recommended to start at age 21. Prevention: Almost all cervical cancer is caused by a virus called HPV (human papillomavirus) that is spread through skin-to-skin contact and sex. Abstinence, limiting sexual partners, using condoms are all ways to prevent HPV infections.

Vaccination: The vaccine that has been developed in the US and approved by FDA to prevent cervical cancer is called Gardasil. This vaccine is a series of 3 shots and is approved for use by all girls and boys from age 9 up to age 26. It protects against a few of the most common high risk types of HPV, but not all. The best time to get vaccinated is BEFORE the person becomes sexually active since it does not help get rid of HPV after the infection has occurred. Regular pap smears should still be continued even after vaccination. In addition, the vaccine does not prevent other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), herpes, chlamydia, and gonorrhea.

Dr. Haleh Hamidi is board certified and a member of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She joined Gwinnett OB/ GYN in 2000 and since then has offered comprehensive women’s care in all areas including high risk obstetrics, contraception, medical treatment of gynecologic problems as well as various gynecologic procedures.

Vaccines that prevent people from getting infected with HPV are now available. Also, treating precancer cells can keep them from turning into cervical cancer.

ocated at 2023 Highway 20 in Grayson is the mother/daughter dental team that makes up Heritage Family Dental. Dr. Kathy Huber and her daughter Dr. Erin Pickwick have recently joined forces to provide our community with the very best in dental services. Dr. Huber, a Grayson resident, originally opened her dental practice in Snellville in 1981 and for over twenty years, she has been an active member in the prestigious Thomas P. Hinman Dental Society located in Atlanta. Moving her practice to Grayson in 2008 allowed her to be closer to where she’s called home since 1989. Erin, a Lawrenceville resident, graduated in 2010 from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and recently joined Heritage Family Dental after completing her residency at the University of Alabama Medical Center.

“There was no arm-twisting on my part. In college she was originally looking into Psychology and had a love for Healthcare and Science, but obviously I’m thrilled that she decided on dentistry and I truly enjoy sharing a practice with her,” explains Dr. Huber. The comfortable yet high-tech facility is equipped with digital x-rays, computer screens, ultra sonic scalers, and Intra-oral cameras. All utilized to make diagnosing your oral health efficient and accurate. “Whether it’s preventive, cosmetic, restorative, or an overall smile makeover, our patients leave here extremely pleased with their smile and we find fulfillment knowing that they enjoyed their experience.” For more information regarding Heritage Family Dental, please visit www.graysonheritagedental.com or call 678-226-4466

rayson Magazine met Maxie Price Chevrolet General Manager Scott Brooks and their new Sales Director Jeff Townsend at their Loganville dealership. The two have been working hard to enhance the overall experience of their Guests and have new plans in place that they feel everyone will truly appreciate. “We’ve always had a great location and an incredible selection of models to choose from, but we noticed that there were areas that we could improve upon when it came to the Guest experience when they would visit our dealership,” says GM Scott Brooks. “We weren’t happy with 3 out of 5 or even 4 out of 5 star ratings, so Jeff and I implemented numerous new methods that center around the things that make looking for a new or

used vehicle an easy and enjoyable experience.” “Our Team at Maxie Price of Loganville has been completely retrained because we saw areas in which we could improve,” says Jeff Townsend. “Culture change starts from the top down which is why Scott and I had to do a selfassessment to see what more we could do to make this dealership the best in the area.” “It’s been a great transformation so far,” explains Scott Brooks. “Our most recent customers can see and feel the difference. With additional staffing, our Team is now able to give our Guests the individual attention that they deserve.”

“I think in the past, we were trying to do too much and unfortunately, we had a few experiences where our Guests would have to wait or look for their representative when we became busy. That’s in the past. The important thing is to learn from any of our previous mistakes. With new training and new staffing, we are now a stronger more attentive unit and we’re excited to open the doors to a new experience for our customers.” Great vehicles, huge selection, and with a true focus on customer service. The newly designed Maxie Price Chevrolet. Come experience the difference!
