“Ceramic City” shopping mall is situated in the western part of Kyiv, not far from the ring road. Construction in this part of the city is monotonous and presents a combination of small trade strands and storage buildings. The main objective in the selection of architectural and planning decisions for a shopping mall, specializing in sale of ceramic tiles, sanitary ware and related products, was to create the most comfortable environment for its customers and employees. The approach to creating the interior structure of the building was determined by its name – “Ceramic City”. That’s why the directions of the main streams of visitors are formed into shopping streets, squares and boulevards.

A little further in this direction, there is a playground, separated from the trading hall with a semicircular glass partition. The variety of architectural decisions is consistent with the sole style of the entire building, and contemporary forms and materials allow creating a clear structure of the interior. Transparent glass partitions of the restaurant, pavilions and sales areas and glass stair railing provide free Wood trim of the wall panels and use of wood for the cabinet furniture of the sales areas allow not only to obtain interesting combinations with other eve the unity of style in interior decoration.

The sales areas are located on the perimeter of recreational areas and are vertically connected with open staircases and ramps, which allows the visitors to navigate freely in the space, review the trade display and make the interior serves creating a harmonious environment.
