General Role Description, Vice President(s) and President
1. Attend Executive Committee meetings (requirement is to attend a minimum of 50% of the meetings per year)
2. Attend Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce events where possible (requirement is to attend a minimum of 2 Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce events per annum)
4. Actively promote the Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce
Vice President and President Only
1. The President may delegate any of his or her functions to one or more of the Vice Presidents
2. If the President is unable to attend a significant event organised by the Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce, they shall try to ensure that a Vice President attends on his/her behalf
President Only
2. To act as an ambassador and spokesman for Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce.
3. To chair the Annual General Meeting (“AGM”), General Meetings (“GMs”), and meetings of the Executive Council (“EC”) and General Purposes Committee (“GPC”) of Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce.
4. To represent the Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce on other bodies, including the Council of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (“Chamber Council”)
5. Subject to any guidance from the EC or GPC, to provide support to the Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce
6. Director in the direction of the Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce staff.
7. To make representations on behalf of the Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce to third parties.
8. To attend events organised by the Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce.
