Construction of stages two and three of the Frederick Wachter Reserve playground redevelopment is also underway and is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The new play equipment builds upon both the ‘market garden’ and ‘wetland’ themes that were supported by the community for the final design.

Every April we celebrate our community with the Keysborough Big Picnic. This year’s event is on Sunday 2 April, from 11am–4pm, at Frederick Wachter Reserve, and will include free entertainment and activities for the whole family, including an Easter egg hunt. Bring your own picnic and spend a fun and relaxing day at the park with family and friends.
