Get Active Get Moving PLACEFIRST

Congratulations to Lyndale Greens Primary School who were awarded first place in Council’s Get Active Get Moving campaign.

Second prize went to Keysborough Gardens Primary School and third prize was awarded to St Elizabeth’s Primary School.

Eleven local schools and 3612 students took part in the campaign that encouraged active travel for children throughout Greater Dandenong.

Celebrating our centenarians

Greater Dandenong City Council wants to celebrate residents who have celebrated their 100th birthday.

We would love to hear from residents or family members of people who are aged 100 years or older so we can celebrate our centenarians during Senior’s Festival in October 2023.

To be eligible the nominated person must:

► be 100 years or older

► live in the City of Greater Dandenong

► consent to being nominated.

Make Your Move this Winter

Active travel gets children moving every day and involves walking, cycling, scooting or other active ways of getting to and from school.

The Get Active Get Moving campaign was developed in consultation with Council’s Children’s Advisory Group.
