Heritage Who knows Feta cheese better than Greek consumers? DODONI is the #1 selling brand of Feta cheese in Greece, so it’s got to be good. DODONI’s history began in 1963, when a small pasteurization unit collected fresh cow’s milk from local farmers to best serve the residents of Ioannina. Back then, DODONI was established through the participation of 6 Agricultural Cooperatives in the Epirus region. Today, DODONI is the leading Greek producer of Feta, ranking first in sales, both in Greece and in export markets. We have become synonymous with quality, tradition and distinctive taste and our products are available in over 50 countries around the world. The unique natural landscape of Epirus, with its rich vegetation and rare biodiversity, including over 2,500 indigenous herbs and plants, is what gives our products their excellent quality, purity, high nutritional value, unique flavor and aroma, all of which have made DODONI famous in Greece and abroad. Annually, we process over 70,000 tons of 100% Greek sheep, goat and cow’s milk, collected from 5,500 dairy farms spread across 514 villages. Today, DODONI produces a wide range of dairy products numbering over 80 different SKUs, the most popular being world-famous DODONI Feta. We also produce fresh milk, authentic Greek yoghurt, traditional hard cheeses, galotyri and butter.

Variety of nutrients - It is an excellent source of calcium, potassium, zinc, vitamins B6 and B12. Low in carbohydrates - Regular yogurts have 15 to 17 grams of carbohydrates per 200g serving, whereas Greek yogurt averages around 9 grams. Easy to digest - Apart from having low levels of carbohydrates and lactose, Greek yoghurt is a great source of probiotics, which help increase the good bacteria in the digestive tract, thus promoting better digestion. Low sodium levels - Often containing up to 50% less sodium than standard yoghurts, Greek yoghurt is an ideal choice for those conscious of their salt intake. Versatility - Due to its thick and creamy texture, Greek yoghurt can be an ideal substitute in many baked foods, salads and dips.
