Overload can cause major transportation infrastructure degradation thus leading to increased safety risks and increased maintenance costs while reducing motorists satisfaction and consequently reducing economic value

Overloaded vehicles have an exponential multiplier effect on road damage:

25% overload causes 2.6 times more damage

100% overload causes 18 times more damage

Energy needs and consumption have been rising steadily across the GCC and in particular in KSA. Millions of barrels are being consumed and the number is on the rise. High consumption is due to strong industrial growth. The biggest contributor to the oil consumption is power generation. Power generation capacity is expected to rise significantly. MASCO has long been involved in power distribution and generation projects. MASCO has developed more than dozens of projects. We work on electrical voltage substations, valves, actuators in oil and gas sector, over head transmission lines, electrical works, street lighting, and underground high voltage cables. Additionally, through international partnerships, we are building our capacity in the renewable energy sector with emphasis on wind and solar power. We believe in the strong role renewable energy will have not only for power generation but also for preservation of the environment for future generations. Renewable energy is also set to improve living conditions as CO2 emissions decrease. MASCO is keen to develop its renewable energy business, as renewable technologies are clean sources of energy and produce minimum secondary wastes and CO2 emissions. Solar energy in particular is one of the best forms of renewable energy and is found in abundance in GCC region. Solar energy is excellent for mitigation of greenhouse emissions and reducing global warming. Energy Projects 18 Projects
