Yonz commented on Leonard’s leadership, saying “we are thrilled Watson has agreed to chair the 2018 Campaign. The Leonard family has championed United Way of Greene County for decades and we are thrilled he will be the third member of the Leonard family to lead the United Way Campaign. He is committed, energetic, and genuinely cares for our community. I feel confident that he will lead a successful campaign to serve our community.” Leonard responded, “It is an honor to chair the United Way Campaign this year. Like many others in the community, my wife and I have happily supported the local United Way over the years because of the positive and far reaching impact the organization has on so many individuals in Greene County. Through the 27 programs supported by United Way, so many lives are directly or indirectly touched. I encourage all businesses and individuals to participate in giving to this worthy cause.” Leonard will be recruiting and working with other volunteers to reach out to the Greene County community and encourage United Way giving. Leonard is a 2004 graduate of University of Tennessee – Knoxville with Bachelor Degrees in Accounting and Finance. Leonard currently serves as the Vice President of Leonard Associates. He has led several volunteer efforts in our community, including chairing the Greene County YMCA board of directors. He is married to Ashley Leonard and they have one son Riggs.
