Donor: John Beerman John’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and is represented in many museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York. He attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and earned a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and has received numerous awards and fellowships, including the Pollack-Krasner Foundation Award. In preparation for his exhibition at Greenhill, John spent time in the mountains of Western North Carolina, looking out at Grandfather Mountain. The series of studies in the exhibition are not typically for sale, so this is a special opportunity to get a wonderful work that also benefits Greenhill, where John serves on the Board of Directors.
