ABOUT SUNSHINE & BEER (SAB) Craft Beer Festival Sunshine Coast has convinced, (well they didn’t need much convincing) the country’s most exciting craft & cider brewer’s to all come to the beautiful Sunshine Coast at 1pm until 9pm. We will also have a selection of reds, whites (wine that is) and bubbles, so something for everyone. This is the Sunshine Coast’s inaugural event so jump on the opportunity by joining us at the Sunshine Coast Stadium. We will create a unique, educational and fun festival experience that excites both converted craft beer fans and the uninitiated. Craft Beer Festival Sunshine Coast will have food to purchase with your SAB (Sunshine and Beer) preloaded wristband.
The food will be great along with the great beer, great venue, great location and a great afternoon out for you, your mates and your family. FESTIVAL INFORMATION FESTIVAL INFORMATION MERCH At our merch tent you will find caps, MERCH tshirts, poncho’s (in case of rain), beer picnic rugs and beer beach towels, what great presents for Christmas too!
ACCEPTABLE NOW FOR THEBEHAVIOUR RULES Don’t drink and drive, there will be regular buses available to and from the event located at Main Drive, Nicklin Way, Bokarina north and south. There are private buses that need to be booked departing at 9pm south to Caloundra and North to Mooloolaba, Alex and Maroochydore. People who are badly behaved and/ or unduly intoxicated will not be served alcohol and will have their wristband removed, and be asked to leave the festival. Glass containers are not permitted. BYO drinks/food will be confiscated. BAGS will be searched. NO umbrellas SMOKING or chairs. BRING A RUG TO SIT ON. Water will be freely available. Look out for your friends, mates and family. Please note this is a cashless event. No wristband, no entry.

The Ginger Kid Ginger Beer is made by two brothers, Kye and Quinn Livingstone. Quinn has a background in winemaking and uses this knowledge to make a ginger beer that is hand crafted in a similar fashion to a wine. When making a wine, winemakers aim to extract as much colour and flavour from the fruit as possible. This philosophy is applied to the ginger beer and the results are evident - a ginger beer that tastes like a ginger beer should - crisp, clean and full of strong ginger flavour!

ARCHER BREWING STAND 32 Archer Brewing is a Brisbane based independent brewery. Our core fleet is made up of a midstrength Lager, Pilsner, Pale Ale and I.P.A. all brewed by our brewer, Gavin Croft. Our fleet of beers are made from 100% Australian ingredients. We are independently owned and strive to use as much local produce as possible. YOUNG HENRYS STAND 43 A big part of our brewing philosophy is built on keeping things local and reducing our environmental impact. Most of our beer is sold within a few suburbs of the brewery and we encourage the use of refillable glass growlers which can be used over and over again, reducing waste. And when you get a growler filled at the brewery, you know the beer you’re getting is as fresh as it gets. Our packaged beer now mainly comes in cans. They’re better for beer quality than bottles, better for the environment and, because they’re lighter, it takes less energy to transport them (on a truck or in your bag). And back at the beginning of the brewing process, each day more than a tonne of spent grain from our brewery gets donated to a local farm where it’s eaten by some very happy cattle.

The Chevy Bar p o u r f o r F i x at i o n STAND 49 We had a dream to see more great pubs and bars of Australia serving super fresh IPA just bursting with juicy hops. After spending time in the US West Coast enjoying all their wonderful IPA’s, we became obsessed with the best of them and knew we had to bring that experience back home. Hops – we love them! Everything about the magical flower and the compounds within that give great beer a lot of its aroma, flavour and bitterness. With our Fixation IPA we take hopping rates to a higher level. Four different new world hop varieties have gone into our IPA at all stages of the brewing process to lend a big juicy, fruity aroma, robust flavour and firm bitterness. There is a clean pale malt backbone with a few specialty malts for good measure, just enough carry the ridiculously large hopping regime! This beer is for people with great taste, who love a modern day classic IPA!
