Greenwich Pantry Cooking School A little bit about us At Greenwich Pantry Cooking School, we are passionate about cooking, eating and living well. We believe in doing good business and partner with responsible businesses and this is reflected in our Company Credo which can be found here. Greenwich Pantry is an ethical food business and began life in Greenwich SE10. With a love for good food; artisan foods, locally sourced and specialty ‘free-from’ foods we began to show clients how to cook delicious healthy food with amazing ingredients. Our goal is to enliven passion for good food and bring people together by promoting all that’s good about food. What we can offer We have over 20 years’ experience of successfully organising and leading cooking sessions with children in schools. Children are taught classes by expert chefs At Greenwich Pantry kids our children’s classes are led by expert chefs with many years of experience in schools and childfriendly environments. In the cooking classes, your kids and teens learn with expert chefs who keep them engaged throughout the session. Children and young people are helped to become mini cooks and young chefs while learning a range of cooking and kitchen skills they will use throughout their lives. Pasta making, cake baking, cookie decorating, bread, sushi, are among the favourites for children joining Greenwich Pantry’s classes. These classes build their knowledge of the world by exposing them to tastes from a variety of food culture.

Children learn in child friendly kitchens Our classes provide a wonderful opportunity to start learning about food in child-friendly kitchens. Young people become more confident through team work as they learn one recipe at a time and given the opportunity to be creative and experiment with different flavours and techniques. There’s so much to learn through cooking skills to keep children intrigued. Measuring, weighing, estimating, guesstimating, socialising, learning about tastes, textures are just a few of those valuable skills.

Our focus on simplicity and practical techniques is ideally suited to engaging and motivating children in the kitchen.
