Prime Time Institute is a program for active adult learners. Members enjoy stimulating, intellectual learning through short non-credit courses, discussion groups, social activities, and educational tours. With college administrative suport, the members are the driving force behind the program and participate in providing suggestions for future classes, instructors, topics of interest, and educational tours.
Membership is open to adults 55 and older. Yearly membership fee is $45 per person and entitles you to a discount on Prime Time classes and other benefits. If you are not a member, you are still welcome to attend at the non-member class fee.

Entertaining the Troops and the Homefront in World War II
Wednesday, August 26 • 9:30 a.m. to noon Location: Room 323, Kent Campus, 417 Ramsay Way Presenter: John Jensen, Former Radio Broadcaster and Audio/Video Historian Learn how the entertainment industry was used by the War Department to build morale with our troops overseas as well as on the homefront during World War II. Through rare audio and video clips you’ll see and hear how movie stars, radio comedians, and recording artists donated their services to the war effort. MINING & CRAFTING 2 – Whether you’ve attended Mining and Crafting 1 or not, you’ll love what this new camp has to offer. You’ll bring your virtual designs to life by building new mob figures, mosaics, and custom models, incorporating LEGO® Bricks.
BRICKS 4 GIRLZ – Join us for a girls-only week of crafting with LEGO® Bricks. Build houses, cafes and fun motorized girl-oriented models and other unique things with bricks -- from jewelry making to brick art and origami.
MINING & CRAFTING – ALL DAY CAMP – Build mobs, characters, and tools with basic, technic, and motorized LEGO® Bricks! Plus, w enjoy other fun games, crafts, and Minecraft activities. Includes Ne Mining & Crafting 1 & 2 and lunchtime supervision. (Please bring snacks and lunch.)
w STAR & WARS ADVENTURE – Inspired by Star Wars™ and Ne NASA, this camp is packed full of models that’ll make your imagination blast off! Learn about real-life space exploration and build models related to space. May the brick force be with you!
STOP MOTION ANIMATION: MINING & CRAFTING & OTHERS Experience the world of Minecraft at Movie Making Camp! Plan, script, stage, shoot, and produce your own mini-movie using Stop Motion Animation. Make your own world or use from the six awesome Minecraft LEGO® sets we have!
TEENAGE BRICK TURTLES – Grab your katanas and nunchucks and fight crimes with the Teenage Brick Turtles! Build the w Ne courageous turtles and their wise Japanese rat sensai and strengthen your ninjutsu skills to defeat the villainous Shredder. NINJA SPINNING CAMP – You’ll spin with excitement as you build motorized models and compete in a Spinjitsu tournament, where Ninjas spin into tornadoes to defeat their enemies. Battle with mini figures, customized battle arenas, tools, and vehicles!
