Prime Time Institute is a program for active adult learners. Members enjoy stimulating, intellectual learning through short noncredit courses, discussion groups, social activities, and educational tours. With college administrative support, the members are the driving force behind the program and participate in providing suggestions for future classes, instructors, topics of interest, and educational tours. Membership is open to adults 55 and older. Yearly membership fee is $45 per person and entitles you to a discount on Prime Time classes and other benefits. If you are not a member, you are still welcome to attend at the non-member class fee.

Friday, October 30 • 9-11 a.m. Location: Room 322, Kent Campus, 417 Ramsay Way Presenter: John Jensen, Former Radio Broadcaster and Audio/Video Historian Who was this young man that took Broadway and radio by storm in the 30's? Come hear about the early years of Orson Welles; his controversial

stage plays and early radio dramas. Subsequently, on an October 30, 1938 radio broadcast, Orson Welles aired his unforgettable version of H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds and the country feared they were being attacked by alien invasion. We'll have a guided tour through this unique museum where we'll see artifacts and exhibits exploring human-rights issues told through the stories and pictures of local Holocaust survivors.
