SAVINGS:
Due the high quality of light output, the T5 Retrofit Kit opens up the possibility of “delamping” or removing a lamp. This process increases overall energy savings and reduces hundreds of pounds of CO2 emissions. Here is a simple example of savings per fixture on an annual basis. We’ve used a popular retrofit scenerio where four tubes are replaced by two kits.

Rebates & Incentives
T5 Retrofit Kit An important advance in fluorescent technology is the development of the T5 lamp. Featuring a tube of only 5/8” in diameter, compared with one and a half inches for the traditional T12 lamps, these lamps dramatically improve system efficiency. For example, a 28-watt T5 lamp uses 30 percent less energy to provide the same light output as a 40-watt T12 lamp. The smaller diameter of the T5 tube means that less of these costly materials are needed. Additionally, T5 lamps provide optimum system efficiency when used with electronic ballasts. This combination provides such dramatic savings in energy costs that millions of dollars are being spent each year to retrofit existing T12 installations with more efficient T5 technology. As a plug and play solution available in 2’, 4’, and 8’ sizes, the T5 Retrofit Kit provides the most efficient alternative for building upgrades that would otherwise be costly and labor-intensive. Emissions trading is an administrative approach used to control pollution by providing economic incentives for achieving reductions in the emissions of pollutants. A carbon offset is a financial instrument aimed at a reduction in those greenhouse gas emissions. Through strategic partnerships, The Green Savings Company is now helping our clients further their eco-initiatives by providing the ability for businesses and individuals to buy and hold carbon credits for use at a later date.
Aside from our environmental efforts, the main goal at The Green Savings Company is to help our clients cut costs. Over the last few years, state energy rebates and federal tax incentives have made “going green” more appealing for businesses and consumers alike. The Green Savings Company works with our clients one-on-one to insure the maximum amount of savings to your bottom line. For a comprehensive list, visit: GreenSavingsCo.com/rebates
