Six Old Houses, Three Wisconsin College Towns!

Lets end this month right and check out some houses that are on my personal radar! Four of these houses are under $50,000, and are all within commuting distance to UW universities. Fun!

This house unfortunately leaves me wanting more! The outside brick and windows show such potential; last time I was in Wisconsin I should have used my Realtor connection and stopped by for some interior pictures. Anyone local? Can you imagine the potential for a little homestead on three acres?

Must be something about Stevens Point that makes me heart thump for a little farm house! This one isn't on a large lot but still has that homestead feel; vintage appliances, hidden wood floors (that look stunning might I add) and even a little wood stove to keep your toes cold in the winter.

The porch spindles are what I dream of for my own fixer upper; I recently asked a neighbor who is knocking down porches on his house to salvage some but he didn't take the time to do it right (and I was on vacation) so many of them are not usable‌ I was crushed. Do you think there are hardwoods hiding under all that carpet? If so this house is gem in disguise.

How is this house under $50,000? Please someone tell me! Close to the university but in stunning condition. The kitchen cabinets are almost unbelievable then you add the matching built-ins. Of course the bathrooms and such need a little restoring but this house has potential.
