An Industrial-Baroque Bistro Cafe Inspired by Famous Inventors
The creative team from 6th sense interiors has mesmerized us before with unique projects such as Enigma Cafe and they're now the center of attention once more thanks to a beautiful cafe-bistro in Greece called Kaffeine. For them, every project is an opportunity to stand out and to create something unusual, exclusive and irreplaceable.
The designers wanted to create a world of fantasy and mystery based on real concepts
The cafe extends outside on an uncovered terrace
Outside there's a series of small bar-height tables with stools They design mainly clubs, bars, restaurants and cafes but they can also be convinced to design apartments and residential spaces. The projects they deliver are the result of collaborations with various artists that specialize in graffiti, wrought iron manipulation, ceramic, sculpture, painting and various other things. The result is always something original and extraordinary.
The outdoor furniture matches the interior decor
The overall style is a combination of industrial and baroque
There are strong steampunk influences which offer the decor a unique allure As always, there's a deeper meaning behind the design, one that goes beyond looks and function. The concept for this project was based on a desire to create a cafe similar to a space where inventors might have gathered in the past to present their creations. This explains the unusual items displayed on the walls.
The materials used are simple and they reflect their true nature
The interior space is not very large and the ambiance is a very friendly and cozy one
The walls feature exposed bricks and they create an interesting backdrop for all the decorations The decor is inspired by famous inventors and sci-fi writers that proved to be visionary. There are also lots of references to the industrial revolution. For example, the walls are decorated with images of steam-powered vehicles such as trains, ships or aircrafts.
The designers gathered a variety of parts and pieces and combined them to create a one-of-a-kind decor
The bar front is decorated with cog wheels, chains and lights
The bar area is particularly interesting, The area behind the actual bar looks a bit like the laboratory of a mad scientist, featuring chemistry lab glassware, thermoteters and nanometers. The shelves are made of metal and they're framed by elegant baroque details and accent lighting.

The lighting is warm and subtle throughout the cafe
There's this rough beauty that defines everything inside this space The bar front is decorated with cog wheels, chains, lights and gears and has become one of the
attrations of the cafe. These elements were gathered by the designers and repurposed. They're known for their ingenuity in this sense, being an element that defines all of their projects.
