Nautical Heritage Routes Europe (NHREU) narrate stories and threads of maritime ‘genius loci’ (places), discovering their roles in actual climate actions and green-circular economies. The NHR Routes pay tribute to Maritime Silkroad in connection with China and the Orient, as well as other ancient nautical routes in the world. You could learn fascinating places and their knowledge starting from home, meet new people and discover a New World in Nautical Routes. The dominant maritime regions in Europe shifted constantly in the long maritime history. Interestingly, they were rooted and strongly linked with their inland hinterland.
