ADVOCACY Advocacy Committees

Various Dates/Times | Greenville Chamber There are four Advocacy committees. Your sponsorship helps bring in speakers, pay for breakfast, and gives you a few minutes to address the committee. • The Business Advocacy Committee convenes business leaders with city, state, and federal officials to create a competitive climate for the continued growth and success of Greenville’s employers. Meets monthly (ex. July and December) • The Energy & Environmental Compliance Committee convenes Upstate businesses with local, state, and federal environmental regulators to create policies that protect the environment while not placing an undue burden on the successful operation of Upstate businesses. Meets six times a year • The Growth & Infrastructure Committee seeks solutions to ensure Greenville’s growth serves the needs of a growing business community while protecting our region’s award-wining quality of life. Meets six times a year • The Healthcare & Community Wellness committee convenes leaders in the business, healthcare, and political communities to seek policy solutions for healthcare and community health challenges.
