Disney getting real So far the only place, where you could actually meet Disney characters was Disneyland. But not any more – observe the sky more closely from now on. To promote the new show on National Geographic Channel called „How hard can it be?”, the special replica was build. House from „Up!” was recreated and tied up to a bunch of meteorological balloons.
And just like in the movie, the house went flying high in the air. Maybe it didn’t look so picturesque, but nevertheless it has the exact amount of children joy in it. You can see the floating house here: http://youtu.be/rV6rNqin4P8
Chewing game The newest Samsung Galaxy smartphone can follow the movement of your eyeballs, Kinects and Moves can track our limbs moving, but I have never seen motion control quite like this. Stride, gum producer, thought that the app market is lacking something. So they created the first game controlled only by chewing gum (or just moving your jaws).
For our character to move, we must chew something (most preferably – Stride gum) and camera in our smartphone or tablet will detect it. Of course the possibilities are very limited (you either chew or you don’t) but I’m sure it can deliver at least 5 minutes of fun (don’t know for sure – haven’t tested). http://youtu.be/cVUHq9e4oC8
Don’t waste calories Running is getting hugely popular all around the world. Popular amongst not only the runners but also admen. There has been many ideas of using jogging in the advertising, but only now somebody thought about doing something with the calories that are burnt while running. German Food Bank Tafeln designed an app to measure the amount of calories burnt each time you run. Every running app has this feature, but only this one can calculates how much meals those calories stand for and how much money you can donate to give those meals to people in need. You can seen how it works here: http://youtu.be/PopV9I4e614
Fine feathers make fine birds Sport sponsors and TV channels are arguing how to show sportwomen to do them justice. Some wants to show what sells, the other wants more realistic image. Roxy, sport apparel manufacturer, has lately released the intriguing spot with alluring, anonymous surfer girl (later she turned out to be Australian surf champion). The ad was soon criticized for being all about her body, not about her skills. Now the ESPN, sport TV channel, has shown very different face of sportswomen – not the pretty, but the competitive one. But is this the truth? I think only this is truth.
The History of Typography There are a plenty of different types of fonts and every day the number is growing. Who would have thought that their history is so interesting, especially when it is served in such a creative form.

Since Johann Gutenberg created first printable font called „Blackletter, their design has been changing every decade. Sometimes to makes them easier to read, sometimes easier to advertise, so people would be interested in product. What you see in MS Office is just a fraction of what people have created.
Movie is in slow-motion and it runs for 5 minutes and 10 seconds. During this time viewer watches 2454 pictures assembled in a quite a nice animation.
last idea \\ dog life The English telecom operator O2, has taken upon himself a very risky task. They attacked the most popular animal on the internet and told them to be more dog. You can seen how it turned out for them on bemoredog.o2.co.uk. They are certainly more fun and more tech-savvy now.
