Grey’t Ideas Weekly 09.08.2013
Just everyday robots The robots might not be walking on our streets on everyday baisis, but they have certainly occupied our imagination. It seems like Americans are preparing for some breakthrough in this field, because they are already getting familiar with them. Recently we told you about the movie „Frank & Robot, that tells a story of an old thief befriending robot that looks after him (sadly the film is a dissapointment). Now, to promote the new X-men movie, the fake ad was created telling the story of the company that manufactures guardian robots, that will play the major role in the movie. You can see it here:

For the Comic Con, Wired magazine has created the most realistic robot they could and send him walking around on the premises. Revealing the robot: http://youtu.be/cFwEiG4I-Wg Making of: http://youtu.be/O9E_Bc3OSOs
Love it or hate it Marmite is a genuine, British product, that leaves no one indifferent. You can only love this flavour or hate it - there is no other option. Now the company comes back to this dinstinguishing claim in the newest, controversial spot. Their latest TV advert tells the story of abandoned Marmite jars in the style of reality show about intervention teams. Unwanted Marmites find a happy and loving house with people that admires them. Everything seems to be in place - the tagline about love and hate, the witty humour. But as soon as the TVC was aired, it was attacked for making fun of child and animal protection agencies and intervention teams - more that 250 complaints were send to Advertising Standards Authority. Enlightening sport The sport genius of Leo Messi is well known. That is why Adidas wanted to celebrate the release of new sneakers branded with his name in unconventional way. With a very simple trick they have created a stunning spectacle (wish we could see it live). Messi with glued on little lights running in the dark with the ball is certainly something to see. Smile Coca-Cola is constantly bringing the smile and hapiness to every corner of the world (or so it says). This time they are coming at us from New York with a nonstandard movie. Everyone (and I mean everyone), that worked to make the brand better, were send t-shirt with the print and were asked to make photo wearing it. Trick is that every polegał t-shirt was a frame in the animation that was finished only after everyone uploaded their photo.
The animation is cute, but we can’t stop thinking about all those wasted t-shirts – who’s gonna wear them now? http://vimeo.com/68153919
last idea\\ young & extreme Xgames is an extreme sports event, that is now celebrating its 18th birthday. For this ocassion the new spot was made – equally charming and frightening.
