Things to know about the HOLIDAY BLUES ARE REAL, BUT TEMPORARY

The holidays can be fun, but stressful and we need to remember to take care of ourselves. Stress can trigger symptoms of depression, also known as “The Holiday Blues.” This can include sadness, anxiety, loneliness, excessive tiredness, or pressure to be merry.

5 TIPS TO MANAGE THE HOLIDAY BLUES:

1. Listen to music or an audio book.

2. Saying no is ok. Boundaries are healthy.

3. Exercise and take a walk.

4. Limit social media and other electronics.

5. Reach out to your close friends and family.
