Another great sight to see in this beautiful Lake District town is not the scenery, but the dogs which come from near and far with their owners! Keswick was voted friendliest town in Britain in 2012 for our favourite four-legged friends, and there are certainly many dog friendly pubs, cafes and restaurants in the area. You couldn’t do better than to take your pet out for a lttle fine dining.

Wind is also notorious in the Lakes, especially high up in the hills. Be prepared and dress practically! It’s very easy to get swept off your feet and taken to sights anew, unless if that’s what you’re interested in of course.
