WORK Nov. 2017 - Present Student / Clairs Vallons / Louvain-la-Neuve
As a student, I am working for Clairs Vallons - Centre Pédiatrique a.s.b.l. for whom I am assigned to redraw the buildings of the site in order to have a computer version of plans for future renovations.
Feb. 2016 – Sep 2017 Student / Atelier D sprl. / Wavre
As a student, I was working for J-M. De Laminne, architect - decorator as an administrative assistant. Introduced to administrative work of an architectural office like finances, urbanism permits, construction site meetings... I was principally following an office and commercial project in Chaumont-Gistoux aiming for zero energy standards and ecological ambition by its wooden construction.

ABOUT Pefectionnist and organized, I am finishing my master degree in Civil Engineer Architecture which has thaught me to manage a project by the design but also by the structural needs. I can work in group by my position as a scout leader for 5 years. My father has been living in the USA since I was 7. It gave me a lot of responsabilities but also the taste to travel, to discover new cultures, new technologies, new ways of thinking. It gives me the curiosity to be able to learn easily and adapt to a lot of situations.
Architecture has its place in the concrete world. This is where it exists. This is where it makes its statement. Peter Zumthor

The situation of the project was clearly the aspect that determined a lot of our decisions. In fact, situated in the south-east part of Brussels, it is located at a jonction of several traffic flows (Automobiles, Buses, Tramways, Trains, Cyclists, Pedestrians) coming in and out of the city. The comprehension of these flows alloyed us to design the train station respecting every user. Our project consists on a bridge passing over the railroads in which every user has a place depending on the level. Two halls, slightly below the road and on either side of the bridge, distribute pedestrians through the station by offering a serie of vertical and horizontal circulation underneath the bridge to access train and tram platforms. The roofs slopes are made in order to assure the coherence of the project. It drives the view downward to the back of the halls opened to connect the users to the railroads. Our main objective was to understand the project as an architectural unit and the enhancement of every flow.

ROWING SCHOOL Ecole d’Aviron La Louvière Bac 2 - UCL 11
This project, situated in Thieu near La Louvière, forced me to directly take into account every aspect of the location. Two major structural artifacts, the old and narrow canal and the new and wider one, had an important impact on the scenery. My position was to install a rowing school between the two canals, at the narrowest junction, with a project that could enhance their length.
The program asking for a certain distance of tracks, storage and launching plateforms, I decided to redesign the whole area between the two canals in order to create a serie of thin parallels in the direction of those two important lines. The road, the small river, the cycling path, the building and the docks were all thin and elongated to structure the point of tension of the two canals
The building itself was very simple by its form and materials in order to stay as modest as the program suggests.

HOUSING IN A PORT Logement le long du Port Newpoort Bac 3 - UCL 15
The project was based on a masterplan made for the construction of three marinas in Newport, on the western side of the Yser river. Our position was very clear on different levels of territory. First, as the strategic position where the Yser flows into the North sea, we wanted to created an entry way for the sailors. Then, as the junction between the city center and the coastal front, we wanted to assure the visual contact between the two poles.
Our project was to create a serie of towers, 15 stories high which where struturally based on their inner core in order to free up as much ground space as possible.
Finally, the design of each floor was created as layers around the vertical core in order to provide light and openess to every side of the tower.
The last story will serve as a lattice to restrain the different floors held by cables and transmit the forces to the central core.
Smaller spaces like the bathroom, kitchen would find their place in an inner layer separated by a circulation delivering the different rooms.
The free ground space would be the force of the project and home to differents activities and smaller businesses.

MUSIC SCHOOL
Académie de Musique Luxembourg-Ville Master 2 - UCL In Progress
19
Still in progress, my gradution project consists on a music school in Luxembourg-City. The city is extremelly influenced by its important relief. A long park settles in the valley whereas the old city center stays above the cliffs. Our main objective is to offer a school to everyone where we can find musical workshops mixing every culture, every age, ... using the music to regroup, connect, meet and help those in needs.
The project finds its place at the junction of the park, south of city center, and the historical villages situated in the valley. The strategic position close to the city center, but underneath its defensive wall, gives to this institution the intimicy and the connections it needs. Our objective is to requalify the end of the park by offering music for walkers, passing through different sounds ans lessons.
