appled bunches disparage in halts it is a gleam we couldn’t catch out of the corners of our eyes a smooth turn or two but of course redness must not be further scarred and it roars, a forest in the spaces of our chests deafening in its absence from the language we mouth across rooms the padded print of a thought

you are in a boat on the ocean. in the middle of the ocean. around you is salty ocean water and sky. you are in a boat in the middle of the ocean surrounded by water and waves. everything is moving. you are in a boat. the air is salty. the water is salty. everything is so salty you have forgotten the taste of salt. there are clouds. there is sea weed. there are fish. every wave around you is separate from every other wave. each wave exists and disappears. you are in a boat. you are surrounded by waves and clouds. you are surrounded by waves and clouds existing and disappearing. you are surrounded by the brief existence of uncountable waves and clouds. you are in a boat in the middle of the ocean. you cannot see anything but the sky and the water. you are moving. it is beautiful. it is so beautiful you cannot see it. it is so beautiful it is monotonous. you see the monotony. you see one colour. you see two shades of one colour. you see the water. you see the sky. everything is moving. you are moving. everything and you are moving. every small piece is moving. you are in a boat in the middle of the ocean. you are being moved by the water. the water is being moved by the air. you are moving so much. so muchis moving. everything is moving so much that you feel no movement at all. you feel immobile in the middle of the ocean in the middle of two shades of one colour. you are in a boat. it is beautiful. you are moving. 11

sometimes we react like children to things. sometimes we are stomping on people’s feet on accident or on purpose you can be mad at someone and you don’t have to be mad at yourself for it. you don’t need to explain everything people are forgetting things and wearing blue jeans all the time and it’s hard for me not to be mad at people who don’t know what they are doing shoplifting is not a sin and i don’t know what i’m doing

it snowed for two episodes after my mother died

fox light or was it Foxgloves

you know this isn’t true

live streaming through your confusion

we try to hold the rabbits back from the fire

the auburn flask burning the wallpaper

I like to be thrown into a room

with eavesdropping

figuring out puzzles

I like when it’s you organizing

your mouth must be an hour into Tetris

the animals by their thirst

give me killer bees

tell me what you meant

I’ll run days into their small body

when you said

Today I felt like a root turning over. Or maybe just a notch in a wheel or maybe I was feeling my palms and thinking my chest hurts the world is so thinly configured from inside the bus It is boring to write about having a body. There is no shortage. I only waited seven minutes in the rain and when it arrived it was fast enough. We sailed through the park And no one was lying on the floor of the bus, no one was chanting a dead person’s name.

anywhere that is cold is my favorite place in the world especially when it is my bed and it is December I will not sleep under my covers much like the way I will swim in Claire’s swimming pool wearing only my underwear on a day where it is advised to wear layers on top of layers The pool water turns my skin blue but I am not bruised when the sun hits me I am glistening and cold is the temperature at which I think any liquid should be I will pretend to drown while Daniel and Claire converse above me every so often I will resurrect my self to ask what they are talking about and I will feel relevant and human and I would rather die in Antarctica freezing with icicles inside my nostrils than die in Florida by a heart attack while my trophy wife prepares a trophy steak I would rather die than do anything at all actually hahahaha
