cats. She will cover the typical products found in a grooming environment and which are safe and which are not safe for cats.
Stress-less Grooming for People and Pets — Linda Easton
SUNDAY
This European style has recently become more and more popular in the states. From short ears with no more mats and water bowl dunking, to losing the pompom tail, the German clip is very modern and much less “ Fi Fi “. This seminar will show you how to add flare and pizazz to a tighter, pet version of the clip, and, how to sell it to your clients.
Slow down and be a little less demanding of your doggie clients and it will make your day go much easier. Let Linda show you some ideas to help dogs relax and behave while in your shop. Good dogs make happy groomers. Learn handling techniques to make Cockers a pleasure to have in your salon. New puppies coming in for the first time… large, possibly aggressive dogs…. Scared dogs…. Linda’s “two hands-on” technique will make grooming safer and calmer.

Angela will show you how to carve beautiful detailed patterns into the coat. This is an awesome way to try creative styling without the commitment of color. This is also a great way to add creative flair to dark coats without the hassle of trying to add color. Although these designs can be left without color, Angela will go a step further and add color to the designs.
It’s been a long time since a trend has swept so quickly through the grooming industry like Japanese (or Asian) Freestyle Grooming has. The adorable looks are fun for the groomer and client, but can be so much more than that. Japanese Freestyle Grooming is the perfect way to leave an impression with everyone that sees the dog. In this poodle demo, Cat will show you how to do a Japanese style teddy bear trim on any dog that you are working on. She will also teach you how to introduce the style to your clients.
