After decades of advocating for and serving older adults, we are thrilled for Senior Friendship Centers to be affiliated with Growing Bolder! For 48-years, we have been a proving ground that age is just a number. Ninety-something Shirley continues wowing audiences with her tapdancing. Joe Bruno, 94, leads two dance bands while blowing standards on his horn to the delight of a crowded dancefloor of the Friendship Center. At 92, Nancy facilitates the Aging Rebels, initially in person and then by Zoom for months on end…and by the way, she also continues working as an author and consultant for a national group of attorneys. The stories are endless and provide immeasurable inspiration, as ordinary people live extraordinary lives, tapping into grit, talent, and a passion for living.
