*SANIGUARD® silver ion based antibacterial finish has the power to suppress the growth of bacteria, fungi, yeast, algae, mold, and mildew on the surface of the hardware. SANIGUARD® does not actually kill bacteria. It inhibits the growth of the bacteria. This product is not a disinfectant and does not protect the user or others against food-borne illnesses or disease. Always use proper hygiene and cleaning procedures.

**The use of antimicrobial copper products is a supplement to and not a substitute for standard infection control practices; users must continue to follow all current infection control practices, including those practices related to cleaning and disinfection of environmental surfaces. This surface has been shown to reduce microbial contamination, but it does not necessarily prevent cross contamination.
