It’s gonna be a busy day in the workshop! You will design, craft, and assemble a special project planned for you. You’ll wrap the day with completed project you get to take home.

CampBUILD: Apprentice

An apprentice dedicates themselves to learning a trade from a professional. Today’s trade is carpentry and you’ll learn from the expert. Get your hands on power tools like the circular saw, jigsaw, drivers, and a sander to create a project of your own. Spend all day in the carpentry shop creating your project and putting it together. By day’s end, you will be able to show off your newfound skills to your family.

CampBUILD: Journeyworker

Completing Grades 8-12

• July 20-22 (3 days) • Madison College • $105

A Journeyworker has learned their trade through apprenticeship and now works for “a day’s pay”. Over three days, you will learn carpentry skills from local tradeswomen. You will use the tools of the trade to build a project to take home. Your crew will also work together to build a project to benefit a local youth serving organization. Come away with many skills you can use in your daily life and feel good about giving back to the community.

Note: This is a 3-day camp; no overnights.
