Elevate your corporate social responsibility by partnering with
A partnership demonstrates your commitment to building a strong and inclusive leadership pipeline of women. It allows us to be nimble, meet the needs of all communities through customized program delivery models, and deliver the best leadership development experience our members.
The Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) is a robust collection of engaging, challenging, and fun activities in a girl-centric environment designed to empower girls to take the lead—in their own lives and in the world. GSLE is centered around 4 core pillars: STEM, Life Skills, Outdoors, and Entrepreneurship.
Whether building model rockets or learning how to code through our STEM curriculum, meeting with executives at some of the region's leading companies as part of our Career Exploration Initiative, developing core entrepreneurial skills through our renowned Cookie Sale program, or learning about environmental stewardship through our Outdoor programs, Girl Scouts gain a mix of skills and experiences that set them up for long-term success. Our 72% member retention rate exceeds the national average of Girl Scout councils, demonstrating our unique ability to provide progressive skill-building and learning opportunities throughout a Girl Scout’s entire K-12 experience!
Partnership Initiatives
Community Engagement
Through dedicated community outreach and strategic partnerships, our Community Engagement team is committed to expanding Girl Scout participation by establishing and supporting troops in schools, community centers, and places of worship. The team offers personalized support to underserved and under-resourced communities, crafting tailored solutions that empower our partners to deliver the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to young individuals who might not otherwise have the chance to join Girl Scouts. This approach ensures that every girl has the opportunity to become a part of the Girl Scout movement and benefit from its empowering programs. Corporate partners are critical to ensuring the expansion of the program.
Girl Scout Awards and Badges
Girl Scouts explore their interests and learn new skills by earning awards and badges. With the guidance of the GSEMA program team, corporate partners can create a one-time program or series of programs based on Girl Scout curriculum. Partners can also develop and implement Council’s Own badge custom curriculum with a multi-year commitment.
STEM ON-THE-GO
Inspired by successful models from other Girl Scout councils in the US, our mobile STEM experience will reach girls who face barriers to STEM opportunities. Equipped with cutting-edge tools and supplies, STEM ON-THE-GO will deliver GSEMA’s provenimpact curricula directly to neighborhoods in need. STEM ON-THE-GO will provide hands-on, skills-based programming that promotes an interest in STEM fields and charts a course toward advanced education and opportunity. Please inquire about this high-profile initiative, as it has unique partnership opportunities.
Summer Camp & Outdoor Experiences
Girl Scout camps and outdoor experiences offer youth the chance to explore, engage, and make a difference in an environment that nurtures their courage, confidence, and character. GSEMA provides a diverse range of outdoor adventures across four day camps and three overnight camps. These camps invite participants to delve into a variety of unique and thrilling activities such as archery, rock climbing, ropes courses, swimming, survival camping, and more, each designed to enrich their skills and ignite a lifelong passion for the outdoors. Over 5,300 youth attend GSEMA summer camps. Partners have the opportunity to support camp monetarily as well as the chance to volunteer at a camp program as subject matter experts.
