The National Festival Orchestra accompanies all performances in Buxton Opera House and has played at every Festival since its inception in 1994. Orchestra leader Sally Robinson is very proud of its achievements and the outstanding reviews they have received. Musicians come from all over the UK, and previous venues include the Royal Albert Hall, London Palladium, Symphony Hall, Bridgewater Hall and the Sage.
