Health & Safety

Safety is our top priority at camp. We are proud to be able to say that in the past 2 years we ran successful, COVID-free camp sessions at both of our facilities. We made accommodations that ensured the health and well-being of all campers, families, and staff. We know that children need camp now more than ever and we accomplished all of these things while upholding our standards of quality care and outdoor fun! • Our staff completed courses and took part in webinars that were offered by the American Camp Association and other organizations that focused on keeping all campers safe during the summer. • We limit the size of our units to optimize social distancing practices while keeping quality fun! • Drop-off is carpool-line style. Upon arrival, we ask families to complete a brief health survey and take temperatures of campers. Campers sanitize their hands before they enter camp. • A group (unit) will travel together for their activities and stay together all week and will not co-mingle with other cohorts. Campers sanitize their hands after each activity. • All equipment and areas are sanitized after each use. • Pick-up is structured so adults will stay in their cars and have their campers brought to them. • If your camper is ill or injured and needs to be sent home, you will be called and are required to make arrangements for your child to be picked up in a reasonable amount of time. • If a child is ill, shows flu-like symptoms, has a fever or is vomiting, the camper MUST be picked up and cannot return to camp until she/he is symptom-free for 72 hours without medication.
