In April, Girl Scouts gathered at Houchens Program Center to celebrate differences and embrace inclusive friendships Partnering with International Center for Kentucky and Cynthia Ganote, participants engaged in collaborative discussions and explored cultures outside of their own They also created artwork that represented them individually and the group as a whole.

Build with Black+Decker

In April, Girl Scouts of all ages worked with tools to build amazing projects. Thanks to our partners with Black+Decker and local artist, Audrey Arcelli, participants constructed their own masterpiece and learned about common household tools

Boyd CAT Women in Leadership Heavy Equipment Demo Day

In May, Girl Scouts joined Boyd CAT’s Women in Leadership group and learned about the heavy equipment industry They explored and operated giant Caterpillar construction equipment and networked with the women in leadership to learn more about their career paths To watch a video of the day's adventures, click here.
