PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND COMPANY INFORMATION All of the products in this catalog are made in the USA (with the exception of Pebble, Scribble, Dahlia, Drift and Linen Napkins). MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS Placemats and Runners Be sure to store Chilewich placemats flat. Do not fold or allow to crease. Chilewich placemats and runners are easily cleaned by wiping with soap and water or standard tabletop antibacterial cleanser. A high temperature sanitizer can be used up to once a week. We do not recommend running placemats or runners through a dishwasher. Do not iron or dry with a heated dryer. Lighter colors may be more susceptible to staining agents such as tomato, chili and certain spices. Please consider this when making your selection. Wash such stains immediately to avoid permanent damage or discoloration. Should a stubborn stain occur, woven vinyl is very durable and can withstand aggressive scrubbing with a soft bristle brush and a bleach-based cleaner. This will remove the stain without altering the fabric. PLEASE NOTE: Tuxedo Stripe, Stitch and Satin are more delicate weaves that should not be aggressively scrubbed. SPECIAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Dahlia (Placemats and Coasters), Drift, Pebble and Scribble should only be cleaned with warm water, mild soap and a clean soft sponge or cloth. Do not aggressively scrub. Rinse well and air dry. DO NOT USE CLEANING PRODUCTS THAT CONTAIN BLEACH, AMMONIA, OR HOUSEHOLD ALCOHOL. To sanitize: wipe with white vinegar and a clean soft sponge or clean cloth. 100% Linen Napkins Machine wash warm (40°C or 100°F). Non-chlorine bleach only. Dry flat. Do not tumble dry. Warm iron (110°C or 230°F). Ironing should be done on slightly damp napkins for best results.

Chilewich has made a significant environmental development by replacing the petroleum-based plasticizers in our yarns with phthalate-free, renewable vegetable compounds. Plasticizers have traditionally been made from petroleum-based compounds that are used to make PVC yarns soft. No more. We call these innovative yarns and the fabrics made from them TerraStrand. The following weaves can be made in oval shapes: 14 x 19.25in (36 x 49cm) and 12 x 16in (30 x 41cm): Bamboo, Basketweave, Bouclé, Micro, Mini Basketweave, Rib Weave, Wicker. *Additional sizes and weaves NOT available in ovals.
