Maybe No: 1

From the Camp Director

Hey everybody!

On behalf of everyone at GSMW, we’re so excited to see your faces at camp this summer!

We’ve got action packed weeks coming your way whether you’re an experienced camper or a first timer.

Explore this brochure and I’m certain you’ll find something that catches your eye! Circle your top choices, share with your friends and get them hyped to go rafting, create slime, learn about life in the 1900s, throw an axe, get stealthy like a spy, or even use a fire extinguisher. There are so many options at Girl Scout Camp!

You can catch me at camp always with a big ole grin on my face, just thriving on the controlled chaos! Fostering connections, teaching new skills, and leading a community that’s focused on building up our future leaders in courage, confidence, and character truly brings me such joy knowing I’m changing lives.

Take Care Out There,

Anne “Phoenix” Sweney Camp and Outdoor Program Manager

Our Program Philosophy

We believe everything that happens at camp is part of the camp experience. Our campers grow through many different adventures at camp. They try new things, build confidence, and make new friends. They also spend time away from families in a new environment. While at camp, they learn to be part of a community, to make decisions together, and to take responsibility for their actions and surroundings. They participate in “kapers” to keep camp areas clean and beautiful, share responsibilities at cookouts, and support each other through new challenges. In our safe and supportive environment, campers become active participants in the learning process.
