Want to work at camp someday? In this fun, hands-on camp, you’ll go indepth to develop your leadership skills in preparation to be a camp counselor. Discover your own personal leadership style as you work to identify and build on the strengths that you already possess. Get ready to build connections, make memories, learn and laugh with your sister CITs, and lead the way for younger Girl Scouts! CIT1 Details
Requirements: You have must have completed ninth grade. Cost: $50 deposit, plus the remaining program fee based on the tier selected. Registration: To participate in the CIT1 program, simply register for the program.

Counselor in Training 2* (CIT2)

Continue building your leadership skills as you move another step closer to working at camp! Explore your strengths and passions, define your personal ethics, and get to know other future role models. Turn your dreams into reality and spend a week working directly with younger girls. You’ll spend the weekend on an out-ofcamp camping trip and receive your CIT2 pin at a fireside ceremony at the end of this two-week program. ◾ Sun., July 16 – Fri., July 28, 2023 Cost: Tier One: $600

Requirements: You must have completed the 10th grade. We strongly encourage participating in a CIT1 program before participating in CIT2. Cost: $50 deposit, plus remaining program fee based on tier selected. Pre-work: Participants must attend a virtual training session before camp session. Several dates will be available to participants to choose from. Dates and times will be shared with participants starting April 1.
Junior Staff – minimum age 16
Ready to take your leadership experience to the next level? This paid position is the ultimate leadership experience for high school students not yet old enough to become full-time staff members. As junior staff, you can be either a junior counselor or junior instructor. As a junior counselor, you’ll work in units or the kitchen. Junior instructors will lead programming and activities outside of the units. Both positions will have the opportunity to explore a variety of interests and experiences in different parts of camp. Junior staff must attend a mandatory training period from June 4–9. You’ll work with the camp director to set your schedule, selecting which weeks you’d like to work. Junior staff must commit to work a minimum of four weeks during the summer. Previous completion of CIT2 is strongly preferred. Girls cannot be both a CIT and staff member in the same summer.
Camp Staff – minimum age 18
If you want to spend your summer laughing, singing, teaching, and being a mentor to the next generation of leaders, then we’ve got the job for you! Positions include camp counselors, program specialists, cooks, and more. Basic requirements for every position are that you enjoy working with children, are at ease in an outdoor environment, can be a constructive team member, and are a hard worker. Staff live at camp all summer, with time off on weekends. Employment dates are June 2–July 30.
