● Five Triangles*

● Five Upside-Down Suspended Cymbals / Splash Cymbals*

● Bongos

* Triangles and Cymbals should be of different sizes, arranged from largest to smallest, and placed on a piece of foam on a raised table. Cymbals are placed upside-down, with the dome on the bottom.

Notes:

● In extended passages for triangles and cymbals, dynamics for both are placed between the two staves in the same style as a piano or marimba score, in order to clarify the notation

● “X” noteheads for cymbals indicate notes to be struck in the upside-down dome.

● In general, laisser vibrer throughout the entire piece; sixteenth notes and eighth notes are used interchangeably to clarify the notation, and do not imply a difference in note length.
