DAY 1 ST PAUL'S BAY

Make your own way to the hotel where your Holiday Director will meet you for your welcome meeting. (D)

DAY 2 VALLETTA

Today’s tour of Valletta will unfold the history of this magnificent city which was built by the Knights of St John during the 16th and 17th centuries. Valletta is often referred to as ‘one big open air museum’, and this is evident as you start to explore and discover something different around every corner. (B,D)

DAY 3 ST PAUL’S BAY - DAY AT LEISURE

Today is free for you to explore at your leisure. Alternatively, join the optional excursion departing this morning to Cirkewwa in the north of Malta where you’ll board a ferry for a short crossing to the island of Gozo. You’ll notice that Gozo is much greener than Malta and has certain differing characteristics. Highlights of the day include a visit to the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta’Pinu, Dwejra Bay and Victoria – the capital of Gozo, whilst also stopping off along the journey for lunch and to spend time wandering through craft villages of the island. If time allows, we may also be able to take in some of the picturesque views along the way. (B)

DAY 4 ST PAUL’S BAY - DAY AT LEISURE

Today choose to enjoy the hotel facilities or why not join our optional excursion to The Three Cities of Senglea, Cospicua and Vittoriosa, located to the south of Valletta, which form part of the magnificent Grand Harbour. (B)

The Hotel Santana is located in charming St Paul’s Bay, offering an indoor pool and a panoramic outdoor pool, a spa and a fitness center. Tea/coffee making facilities are available in guest rooms.

Today’s tour takes us to the picturesque town of Naxxar, home to the 18th century Palazzo Parisio with its breathtaking interior and manicured Italianate gardens. Next, we will visit the city of Mosta, home to the Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady, boasting one of the largest unsupported dome roofs in the world. We’ll then travel through to Malta's ancient capital, Mdina, where we will be trying a “Pastizzi”, a traditional savoury Maltese pastry, and exploring the alleys of this historic walled city. (B)

DAY 6 BLUE GROTTO & MARSAXLOKK

The quaint fishing village of Marsaxlokk is characterised by its low lying buildings and colorful traditional fishing boats known as ‘luzzu’. And today you can wander the stalls of its local market, held here every Sunday. Further on, we visit Wied iz

Zurrieq (Valley of Zurrieq), a small harbor where you might wish to take a boat trip out to the Blue Grotto to marvel at the many sea caverns and azure waters found along this stretch of coast. Today, lunch is a typical Maltese affair, which we will enjoy, before visiting the San Anton Botanical Garden near the Presidential Palace. (B,L)

DAY 7 ST PAUL’S BAY - DAY AT LEISURE

After a free day to explore and relax at your leisure, we head out for a farewell dinner with an evening of folklore dancing, a jovial story of Maltese history told through dance (B,D)

DAY 8 ST PAUL'S BAY

Today it's time to say goodbye to your fellow travelers as your trip comes to an end. (B)
